heard good stuff about the endorphin 3, and with the speed 4. I have a pair of Novablast 5, cant compare them to anything as first proper pair of running shoes i own, all i can say is they are very good, comfy with bounce and versatile for both short quick runs and longer runs, i used them for my 10km and they were great.

If you are doing 5k in sub 25 you will be able to 10k sub 1 hour, my 5km time is around 22 minutes last time i did one timed which was a while ago. Did 10km mallory park race last weekend in 46 mins so next goal will be sub 20 5km which i think is do-able this year. Anyone in this thread have any recommendations for carbon plated? would want a bit of stability which i know is hard to come across but adios pro 3 have glowing reviews, think the vaporflys will be too unstable. Cant for the life of me get hold of any sky/edge asics. Heard Saucony are good

I’ve been looking into this and apparently good to train the legs individually I.e. Bulgarian split squats, I also include squats, hamstring curls etc, calf raises and usual leg exercises. Things like box jumps etc can help as well I need to do some slow runs in my training but feel I don’t have time, don’t know how people can do 4-5 runs a week I’m struggling with 2/3 atm. get Mallory park 10km out the way this weekend then I’ll probably download Runna and run with more of a structure
