We only realised this after it made a lot of sense, the organiser has had a flood of complaints. Apparently the people who did the half marathon it was 200metres short so they had to run around after the finish line (which no one could even see), mess at the start with no organisation with pens etc. delayed for 15 minutes whilst everyone stood there soaked and cold. As it was our first one we didn't know any better

i've learnt quite a lot about this running malarkey of the last few days apparently there are socks that make you run better, earphones that don't actually go in your ear that you are only allowed to use.. oh and people have multiple pairs of running shoes, some for training, some for slow runs and one pair for race day?! In all seriousness, it's good that a lot of people have got into it over last few days. I loved being amongst a few thousand people running it was a great experience. Any tips for good running gear to ask Santa for Christmas? got a windproof breathable running jacket so far and getting the Garmin forerunner 55 watch - don't need a fancy one P.s. why are all the nice colours in running trainers constantly sold out? easier to get a rolex. I quite like the Asics metaspeed sky paris and Asics Novablast four

I get your point, but people who aren't Leicester fans would probably see us lucky to get Moyes. We are Leicester city, notoriously played in champ/div 1 for years and if it means it keep us in the prem i think it is a good appointment. I think RVN as an example could be a very risky appointment - if we went down with him i don't think he could bring us back up and would want more of a fashionable job. Moyes would properly stick the tent pegs in and could get us back up from Championship (if we go down).

David Moyes personally, shows how much of a good job he did at West Ham. Would probably actually prefer him over potter, I think Graham is a bit overhyped

Did the Silverstone 10k today in what was absolutely abhorrent weather, 40mph winds, hail you name it. Old airfield so open to the elements. Did it is 49.16, came 307th/1900 which I’m happy with for first race. didn’t bother trying to get near the front so ended up crossing start line around a minute after the gun went off, so placing would have been higher but something to note next time. not done a park run yet so eyeing some up over the next few weeks. Any recommendations for most enjoyable Leicester ones?

Lose v West Ham and I expect some chants from the stands either aimed at cooper, Rudkin or top.. or all three atm I genuinely don’t think the owner/senior board know how dissatisfied the fan base is atm. Or maybe FoxesTalk isn’t a true representation of how most the fan base feel… I just don’t know what to think anymore tbh

Big part of the problem are the fans who bought season tickets in the singing section and NOT SINGING. Time after time I look over it’s only the bottom 6 or so rows that sing.. 80% of fans in that singing section who made a CONSCIOUS decision to buy a ticket there to sing and just not doing anything with arms folded

Was in the lake district this weekend, the amount of people walking on the let hand side of the road same away as traffic was probably 70% of people. you are meant to walk towards on coming traffic for anyone wondering. Always the people who have all the gear and no idea, dressed head to toe in mountain warehouse with their walking poles but do something so stupid like walking the same direction as the traffic.
