Martin Keown savages Craig Levein for Leicester City 'torture' as he reveals what ex Scotland boss was 'useless' at - Daily Record

Think there are many that share this sentiment but all the evidence shows that he just isn't going to do that. They're all joined at the hip it seems.

RVN insists he has discussions regarding the January Transfer Window. If it turns out that RVN also feels that he has been misled then that's the Red Line for me, and would suspect for many other long term fence sitters as well.

Shit result as any honest punter would have expected. At least we are still standing and fighting. Big fall off once they got their second goal which is a bit concerning. The players need to keep believing and keep going otherwise we’re dead ducks. Credit to the boys in difficult circumstances with an edgy atmosphere from the supporters.

Could This Be the Most Important January Ever?

Pretty poor situation when the club seemingly have to right the wrongs of the last window first. -

Was always a damage limitation game just like our next two. Anything from the last three games would be a bonus. But we really have to start maximising points against virtually all the other sides. Missing players like Vardy, Wilf, Ricardo, Fatawu and Mads is just too steep a hill to climb at the moment. Really need the Mother of all January Windows to stand any chance now. -
Just watched the Paul Gascoigne Documentary again and got to thinking what a fantastic person he'd be to meet and listen to over a pint (OK, dangerous in Gazza's case) and a chat. For me Gazza would be the ultimate non City for me with Frankie Wortho as the City Legend. Who'd be other Posters preferred dream chats?

Doubt if this will come to pass but makes you laugh when a reason some detractors make for not taking a current England International with experience and leadership qualities is lack of pace. Can't have played at decent level football if not realising the first five yards is in the head and the next organising those around you?

The fact that he's not brought in his own backroom staff is alarming. Inexperience or total stupidity? -

RVN warning signs staring us in the face now. Losing his two best keepers, Fatawu, Ricardo and Wilf is bound to weaken the side. But just replacing them and just carry on playing the same way with the same system and tactics seems a bit stupid to me. Can't imagine for one minute that the likes of Moyes would do this. As others have said, the January window is massive. -
Think training must be five a side and nothing else on today's showing. Gutless, shapeless excuse for a performance all round. Can take losing but what happened to going down fighting. The bloody lot of them should be ashamed to call themselves professional sportsmen.

Looked well out of his depth today. Like a statue on the touchline. Needs to wise up sharpish or we're well and truly fckd. Rooney in the same boat at Plymouth but as soon as he got Phelan is as a Coach they turn in a team performance. Our players are so individual it's embarrassing. -
Thought a club could only have two loan players at one time. Would need to send Edouard back first? Is this correct?

Hands up all those that actually thought we'd get something out of Newcastle before the game. Shit happens. Hopefully everyone will chill out by the time Wolves turn up on Sunday. -
Need a Wolves equaliser to limit the damage.

Always hope when only one goal in it. Daka and their high line could be one way into it.

Interesting insight into RVN's attention to detail and tactical astuteness. -

Great to see Pepball losing again. Hopefully be the end of the boring fetish with tippy tappy football and we might get back some entertainment and goalmouth action in football again.
-
City must have the most lightweight bunch of tippy tappy poseurs masquerading as footballers in the Premier League. Would like to think RVN might quickly recognise this and deal with it as a priority by adopting a style of play to suit. For me he can start by putting Hamza back in any other player that's prepared to do the ugly things in football, like running, shutting down and tackling. Enzo and the Championship flattered this lot and the days of two top five finishes in the Premiership are long gone. Would suggest that anyone thinking this squad can play itself out of trouble need to get off the waccy baccy.

Just about as embarrassing as it gets. Put a coach in charge that thinks he’s another Pep. Need to throw those fckn manuals away and get back to good old work rate, mentality and getting the ball where it hurts attacking and in Row Z when defending. Sick to death of this crap week in and week out. -
