  1. First mistake he's made for us and all the Pound Shop Pep's are jumping on his back. Give the bloke a break FFS.
  2. Thornton Heath Station is probably a better option as there are two pubs where Away Supporters tend to congregate for this game, Railway Telegraph and The Prince George, both around 10-15 minutes from Selhurst Park. Be wary as plenty of early birds got caught out the last couple of seasons as no Pubs open until 12 o'clock.
  3. Typical Red Top Rag making a Mountain out of a Mole Hill.
  4. Hope Steve Cooper takes a long hard think about playing such a high line or sorts it out. Both goals at Fulham and the inexplicable positioning for the Villa free kick first goal were big factors in those defeats.
  5. Something has to be going behind the scenes on that we don’t know about? Highly unlikely it’s purely a football related issue.
  6. He's getting there slowly. If Enzo had stayed it's questionable if results would have been any better. Pretty laughable reading some of the odd criticisms from the gung-ho Armchair Pep's amongst us. Give it a few more games and maybe then come to a sensible assessment. At least we look competitive albeit without that cutting edge.
  7. Not sure how many actually thought we'd hit the ground running, especially after our pre-season and transfer window, but the run for the hills panic seems a bit premature at this stage?
  8. Breaking News: Leicester City's Board Member Resigned (sportmedia1.co.uk) Not sure if it's April 1st?
  9. Serious question. Any idea why the trip that takes roughly an hour normally is stretched to three for this? Re-routing perhaps or allowing extra time to fish Leicester fans out of the Thames along the way having done a Robert Maxwell Tribute Act?
  10. Maybe something is going on behind the scenes? Ricardo was Enzo’s Pet and first name on the team sheet. Perhaps he’s not showing enough positivity to being “downgraded” in Cooper’s system? Whatever the reasons, the sooner he’s back in the side the better.
  11. Didn't see him in his usual seat. That's good then.
  12. Didn't see Jon Rudkin either. Thought it was a bit strange.
  13. Get the feeling that Cooper isn't being himself just yet. Seems to be doing what he thinks Top, Rudkin and the Players want him to do, hence the continued overplaying out from the back in the Frendlies. Can understand that, as he can't be seen to just rip up the Enzo Championship Playbook even though that was a walk in the park with the squad we had against the opposition we faced. Hence the mantra of getting mentally ready to face the rigours of the Premier League. That's code, to me, for saying Enzo's way wouldn't and won't last five minutes in this League. The sooner he's allowed to do things his way or grows a pair and lays it on the line to all concerned the better. Only when that is tried and fails it is fair to put the boot into him. We don't want to be a dozen games into the season before changing tack, when it will be virtually too late.
  14. If he has retained his form from a couple of years ago he'd be a perfect fit for Cooper's style. Better as a central striker when Hodgson shifted him there. The mess this club is in, they need to push the boat out and get this one over the line as a Marquee Signing to lift everyone.
  15. If it’s true that Top and Rudkin want Leicester to play like Man City then there’s the problem right there. All the rest is froth.
  16. I bought into Cooper as I couldn't see how Enzoball would succeed in the Premier League. Thought Cooper was pragmatic and would find a way to make us competitive. However, after watching that excuse for a performance I cant see anything but relegation. We've turned into Pounshop Enzo. Either the players are talking Cooper into hanging onto Poundshop Pep's tippy tappy stuff or the Club are insisting on this approach because any Manager with half a brain would drop this shite of playing at the back like a stone.
  17. Just hoping that they are not in panic mode behind the scenes like a bulk of Foxestalk Posters. 😂😂
  18. How does a new manager assess 25 players in four games whilst conditioning them and getting minutes into the legs at the same time? Absolutely stupid pre-season in my opinion. Cooper has been working with one hand tied behind his back since he came in.
  19. Might look grim at the moment but there were plenty of us scratching our heads at Northampton last season. Looks like a Dogs of War campaign is the only way to make up for the shortage of attacking options though.
