I decided to buy the 1st one Audibile the other month during the sale (think it was like £4 or something). Looking forward to it as I've heard good things, but just finishing off the full cast Harry Potter ones 1st as I never actually read the books

He's lost all his confidence, he had the ball in a perfect place to shoot about 2/3 mins ago but decided to play a pass out wide instead

Had a pint of DEYA Glue IPA in the head of steam before the darts last night in Birmingham. A lovely beer but it did set me back over £9 What was criminal though was that a pint of Rekorderlig was over £7!

The audiobook was great

Vardy documentary (12th May) for those who haven't clicked the link

Me too, its great as they're on kindle unlimited. I've almost finished the 1st book, very easy to read

Turns out you can

Its the best audiobook I've ever listened to, so I'm hoping the film does it justice. Your review gives me hope!

It was a pretty fun race to watch. Shame the hard tyres never really dropped off for the Mercs to make it interesting at the end of the race

Agreed, it has been a nice change to the other 2 GOT shows (main one and house of the dragon). 1 more episode left of this series.

Getting blown away here!

It does, its a small dart underneath the score of the player who has the throw in that leg. Agreed though - not sure why they had to reinvent the wheel

Its almost like playing with 10 men with him in the team this season. Love the bloke but there is no point in playing him

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)

Hmmm, I could start using it again. I might start taking my phone out on runs to listen to audible again as I quite enjoyed that last year -

My December: Had 0 motivation for any running and didn't go on any runs at all. The wife got me some Asics Novablast 5s for Christmas and I think somehow mentally, the new year has given me some more motivation (and the fact that all my tops are getting tight ) 1st Jan - 5k in 31 mins - not great but not horrific considering I've not ran for a while. Going to record every run I do on the notes page on my phone and see if I can try and stick to at least 10 runs a month and see where that takes me. -
Yeah it follows on

I enjoyed the new Avatar. A long film at 3 hours 20 mins but it doesn't feel like they've dragged it out

I want to like it as I think its quite a cool idea. But I'm finding it a little bit of a chore to watch tbh, a bit too slow paced

Bobby in the 10 gives me a bit of hope -
Well boys, it was a rollercoaster of a 1st season. In February I was as low as 14th and really struggling to win games on a consistent basis. It got so bad that the board threatened me and gave me 1 month to improve or else I'd get the sack. Then the lads actually remembered how to play football and we went on the most insane run at the end of the season, winning 9 out of the last 10 games! To then still miss out on the play offs by 1 point. And the team that beat me were the one team we lost to in that crazy run I didn't do a crazy amount of business in the 1st window (bought in Robertone and Miley) and only brought in 1 player in January (Bazdar - 7 assists in 8 games!) and then Heaven towards the end of the season on loan. Ayew only went in Jan and couldnt shift BDCR due to clubs wanting me to still pay 20k of his wages every week. I also terminated Ramsey's loan as he was genuinely awful for me for some reason. I've attached the team I settled on towards the end of the season that went on that crazy run. Wish I had started playing Evans earlier in the season, he only got a luck in around January time and he was incredible!

Nick was good until the end. David was crap all along
-
Anyone else struggling with Leicester? I'm having more xg in most games by quite a margin but struggling to score goals, and concede such stupid ones at the other end. (Sounds very realistic tbf! ) I guess I need to buy a proper striker in January

One of my favourite films! It's on Amazon prime atm I've been tempted to rewatch it
-
Guys he has only had 1 game in charge, and both goals were penalties. Let's not get too carried away
