Back then I couldn’t get to many games, this was the first Premier League game I’d been to. Sat front row of SK1 near the corner. Vividly remember there being an excitement around me. A pigeon then swooped down and knocked itself out on the advertising board before the game began. When we went ahead we were singing ‘We’re top of the league’ and telling myself to enjoy it because we’d never be able to sing it again. If only I knew what was to come, I’d be a very wealthy man!

Quality of the shirts available in the shop was really poor. Loads of pull threads all over them. Saw a kids shirt hanging up with a completely frayed collar. £70 is outrageous for a product broken before purchase.

So we must assume that we either have a pink home shirt this year or we are releasing our away kit first. Either is quite a bold choice.

Sorry to be a pedant but I believe that was P&O Ferries, owned by a Dubai based business, which is a different company to P&O Cruises, who are operated by Carnival UK.

Applied for the ballot. Don’t really want to move from where I am in SK2 but hoping by applying it shows demand is there and hopefully in the future they will add more standing areas across the kop.

Going today as my first away game (usually struggle to get tickets). Expecting absolutely nothing except from a day in London with beers in the sun. I’m being optimistic by hoping for us to score a goal.

I looked at that but it’s sold out. Is the atmosphere usually good in the lower blocks? Considering SL3. Never been to an away before and don’t want to be sitting with the flask brigade I’ve read about on here

What’s the best place to sit/stand for this?

In the same way my dad is great at his job but I haven’t got the foggiest how to do it, we must now accept that the son isn’t the father in terms of leading our club.
