Of course it does. A season ticket holder that pays say, £25 pro rata for their ticket and spends nothing additional at the ground generates less money for the club than a tourist that pays £50 for the same seat, then buys food and drink and a scarf from the shop pre match. That's obvious.

Very good article. It's why all their "fan engagement" is a sham.. They'll ignore what people ask for, and implement whatever they want regardless of if people want it or not. All to chase their ideal demographic that won't kick up any fuss.
