The big sales that we've made have all been to clubs where the player has already hit their ceiling. Mahrez, Maguire, Drinkwater, Barnes, Maddison, Chilwell etc, the clubs that they've gone to have all been the final stepping stone for them. There hasn't really been a middle ground that we've sold to that then leaves them room to move onwards from. The only one possibly you could argue would have been Kante, he could have gone to Barca/Real Madrid from Chelsea and we might have got something but it never happened.

Personally I think the valuation of him is about right. Bilal a tad high but those two could be the difference between getting promoted or not, so I can see why we're doing what we're doing. The pure profit for Ndidi is what we need ASAP.

Why do our players have such an inflated opinion of themselves. Wilf is made for Turkey at this stage of his career. Even going there I think he'll fizzle out very quickly a la Soyuncu/Amartey.
