  1. I think the relegation season and how poorly the club is run has a knock on effect. I think at times it is hard to get excited because you are waiting for that next element of bad news to come with regards to how the club has been ran. Plus with the awful lack of communication, it is hard to get excited as we do not know what type of summer we are looking at financially. Top that off with small things such as £25 for a season ticket and it all slowly builds up. Personally, that is why I am sad to see Enzo go because whether people like it or not he gave us some much needed happiness as of late.
  2. For me he’s the clear man for the job, all his pro’s are we are in need of for our first season back. there’s a misconception that he plays defensive football, which isn’t true. Admittedly, against the top boys he has to sit back a bit and play counter attacking football and takes away the top boys major strengths. Even Enzo said after we played them that they should of won.
  3. Are you blind? They battered us and played us at our own game by overloading spaces down the flanks. How they didn’t get 3 points is beyond me.
  4. Chelsea told him he wasn’t in the running, I wouldn’t be surprised if Man U stick now and he may just prefer to stay then go for Brighton or they’ve changed there minds and going for Potter.
  5. You got intel or just personal opinion?
  6. The best and most realistic option all things considered imo.
  7. Admittedly he doesn’t play inverted full backs but his preferable style is actually quite attacking. He’s got a lower half championship squad therefore is forced to adapt his play style to have success (sign of a good manager). Interestingly he’s never really hit the ground running anywhere he’s been though and needs time to implement his style. This article will help you understand his play style if you are interested: https://medium.com/@charliebarnicle/the-genius-and-brilliance-of-carlos-corberán-bbf493a8d105#:~:text=Corberán's style is very wing,in what is his breakthrough or a breakdown of his style against us: https://breakingthelines.com/tactical-analysis/carlos-corberans-tactical-set-up-at-west-brom/
  8. This is the best/most logical response I’ve seen on this topic.
  9. Mads for me is worth £30-£35m with regards to Winks, Chelsea can find a better play than Winks to play that role but he’s worth around £20m realistically.
  10. I would imagine they’re negotiating for him and his backroom staff so it would be an overall fee. Ultimately, they want Maresca knowing his release clause so that alone shows there is an element of them willing to pay it.
  11. BS if they offer him the job he’s going. Let’s not talk stupid here.
  12. Potter has always stuck to one philosophy when it’s gone right or wrong no?
  13. Genuine question for those with actual ball knowledge…. What do people see in Graham Potter and Will Still? I don’t feel any excitement in either of them and not to sure on what is with all the hype? Is there something I’m not seeing?
  14. Exactly. Tried saying this a few times the 10m is just for Enzo n he will want to take his back room team with him.
  15. This is one thing as well that is massively over hyped in modern day football. Gone are the days of loyalty from players and staff, everyone understands it’s a business, from our 25-30 man first team squad I can probably think of maybe 2 players that wouldn’t want to move to Chelsea with all aspects included. They aren’t going to hold it against him, if anything they’ll be happy he’s still around. Also no one has ever stated he’s “desperate” that’s a massive over reaction.
  16. At this point I couldn’t care if he goes or stays as long as a decision is made quickly. Obviously I want Enzo to stay from a stability perspective plus I like the guy and his aura. Im also intrigued if his style of play will work in the prem, which I do believe it will as they’ll be more space to play into and less need to break sides down with 10 men behind the ball. Regardless, if he wants to go then good luck to him and I will be grateful for last year and I’ll look forward to us getting someone new in and the transfers that come with that. It’s not worth the hatred or loss of heads that many have on here to be honest.
  17. Kompany has already agreed a deal with Bayern so that’s not happening.
  18. It makes too much sense not to be him. Proven premier league experience, proven philosophy that’s worked in the prem. Plus many would say Enzo’s style of play is based of De Zerbi rather than Pep’s.
  19. I’m intrigued on why Fabrizio is so fixated on Enzo rather than the rest of the candidates though? Is it because he’s the only one talking about Enzo compared to others media outlets?
  20. Agreed another team I think will do worse than us next season.
  21. I would be intrigued to know whether the fee’s being documented are just for Enzo or for his back room team too.
  22. Always loved Corbean’s passion, having read this article, I think he would be my favourite for the job. https://medium.com/@charliebarnicle/the-genius-and-brilliance-of-carlos-corberán-bbf493a8d105#:~:text=Corberán's style is very wing,in what is his breakthrough My top 5 candidates: Carlos Corbean Adi Hutter Carlos Cuesta Ruud Van Nistelrooy Kjetil Knutsen Marco Rose would also be on the shortlist but can’t see him leaving Leipzig for us.
  23. I want odds on Maresca being our manager again within the next 24 months…
  24. I can’t believe they haven’t stuck with Poch to build something and going the direction they are, completely lost their heads.
