  1. Exactly. Tried saying this a few times the 10m is just for Enzo n he will want to take his back room team with him.
  2. This is one thing as well that is massively over hyped in modern day football. Gone are the days of loyalty from players and staff, everyone understands it’s a business, from our 25-30 man first team squad I can probably think of maybe 2 players that wouldn’t want to move to Chelsea with all aspects included. They aren’t going to hold it against him, if anything they’ll be happy he’s still around. Also no one has ever stated he’s “desperate” that’s a massive over reaction.
  3. At this point I couldn’t care if he goes or stays as long as a decision is made quickly. Obviously I want Enzo to stay from a stability perspective plus I like the guy and his aura. Im also intrigued if his style of play will work in the prem, which I do believe it will as they’ll be more space to play into and less need to break sides down with 10 men behind the ball. Regardless, if he wants to go then good luck to him and I will be grateful for last year and I’ll look forward to us getting someone new in and the transfers that come with that. It’s not worth the hatred or loss of heads that many have on here to be honest.
  4. Kompany has already agreed a deal with Bayern so that’s not happening.
  5. It makes too much sense not to be him. Proven premier league experience, proven philosophy that’s worked in the prem. Plus many would say Enzo’s style of play is based of De Zerbi rather than Pep’s.
  6. I’m intrigued on why Fabrizio is so fixated on Enzo rather than the rest of the candidates though? Is it because he’s the only one talking about Enzo compared to others media outlets?
  7. Agreed another team I think will do worse than us next season.
  8. I would be intrigued to know whether the fee’s being documented are just for Enzo or for his back room team too.
  9. Always loved Corbean’s passion, having read this article, I think he would be my favourite for the job. https://medium.com/@charliebarnicle/the-genius-and-brilliance-of-carlos-corberán-bbf493a8d105#:~:text=Corberán's style is very wing,in what is his breakthrough My top 5 candidates: Carlos Corbean Adi Hutter Carlos Cuesta Ruud Van Nistelrooy Kjetil Knutsen Marco Rose would also be on the shortlist but can’t see him leaving Leipzig for us.
  10. I want odds on Maresca being our manager again within the next 24 months…
  11. I can’t believe they haven’t stuck with Poch to build something and going the direction they are, completely lost their heads.
  12. It’s more the impact completely changing the style of play could have on the squad that’s concerning.
  13. Would be a perfect replacement! Another name to throw in is Jagoba Arrasate. Completely different style of play but did wonders at Osasuna and has recently stepped down. https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/jagoba-arrasate-a-deeper-look-at-his-osasuna-project-tactical-analysis-tactics
  14. If it’s between Enzo and McKenna then I think Enzo’s gone. McKenna for me will end up at Man U if they want him.
  15. I’ll be gutted if he leaves.
  16. If true I can’t see Chelsea not getting McKenna unless Man Utd have already decided to part ways with Ten Haag.
  17. If I’m a betting man I would have Southgate become Man Utd manager in the next 12 months.
  18. If Enzo was to leave the thing that worries me is the fact that he was pushing for change within the board room that’s desperately needed. That’ll go out of the window with him leaving. To be honest I’m confused why they aren’t just going for De Zerbi?
  19. The work Knutsen has done at Bodo is unbelievable. I would be willing to give him a chance.
  20. I’ve stated previously that I think we will be after a big bodied striker who’s got bit of an aerial threat, we play so many crosses but have no real aerial threat.
  21. If he’s on no more than £15/£20k a week he’s worth keeping round as a squad player. Can cover the wings and central positions. I don’t think he’s good enough to start or be the first replacement but as a 4th/5th choice on those wages I would be happy to keep him around on the basis he would be happy with that role.
  22. I have seen a few people stating they would want Brahima Diarra now he has been released… I honestly don’t understand the hype around him, am I missing something? Yes he’s young and good at the high press, but other than that he doesn’t seem to offer anything for me.
  23. Signed for £15m with £5m add ons (doubt they add ons have been met) on a five and half year contract meaning his contracts up until 2029. He has 4 years remaining, so we would have to roughly make around £10/£11m to break even on the deal. Like others stated, can see it being a loan for Souttar unless Saudi come knocking as he’s classed as an Asian player.
  24. Very good player, offers versatility to provide cover for winks but also play further up the pitch. Good set piece taker, which is something we need imo. Reminds me very much of a younger Sensei.
  25. I think the club assumed that multiple championship clubs would be queing for his services on loan and banked on the fact his stock would rise. Once again, a stupid gamble to take now knowing the financial crisis the club is in.
