I don’t know who’s told you what but that’s garbage mate. He was desperate to be best mates with Brendan, he even moved his office so they could be next door to each other. With regards to Top approving stuff and not Rudkin, it’s been stated in the past that Top depends on Rudkin for football knowledge due to lack of knowledge he has himself so why would he question him? I have said it before, Rudkin is not a liked figure within the football club, he wasn’t whilst he was the academy director either, I know this from playing academy football in the past myself. He’s always had an ego but licked the arse’s of many important people within the football club to get himself where he is now. The amount of times I seen us score a crucial goal last season and the camera went to Top and co, most of them would be celebrating yet Rudkin was expressionless. Rudkin’s main priority is his own and not the football club’s and sadly too many of our board members are becoming this way, hence the worse relationship i can remember between fans and the club in a long time, it’s sad to be honest. The sooner we get him gone the better.

Sebastian Nanasi from the Swedish league too Sadly I think there is too much of a willingness in English football to let countries like Portugal take these talents, see how they cope and then spend more knowing they’re proven in a better league. I’m hoping the signing of Hermansen changes that considering he’s now one of our most sellable assets for a big profit.

Tbh I think the long wait is the club simply waiting for Potter to decide. Which personally rubs me off the wrong way, you’re either committed or not.

I actually disagree with this part Strider. I’ve been doing some research this morning on Potter as it seems inevitable that if Potter wants the job then it is his. Whilst in terms of style of play, out of all the candidates Potter is the clear choice from our shortlist with regards to continuing the brand built by Enzo as there are a lot of similarities but Potter puts more emphasis on defensive stability which some may argue is better for the step up in divisions. However, the way Potter sets up from a formation and player personnel perspective has a huge emphasis on areas of play that I think we are at our weakest and would play away from our current squads strengths. Potter sets out in simple terms in a 5-3-2 allowing them to be more defensively sound off the ball and allowing them to create a low block when the initial press does not work compared to Enzo’s 4-1-4-1. Whilst on the ball the wing backs push up, creating a 3-4-2-1 or a 3-2-5. Straight away the use of wing backs and not wingers concerns me massively for obvious reasons within our squad, However, most would argue it is a better structure for the step up to the Premier League. He also likes to play with 2 players behind the striker, focusing on the half spaces between a traditional No.10 and a winger. From what I have seen he prefers to use inverted wingers in these roles, which again concerns me as I personally don’t believe this is an area that Mavididi or Fatawu could play as they aren’t players who work in tight spaces and instead prefer to have space to run into. Finally, he likes to play with two holding midfielders. One who’s duty is to drop short and recieve the ball (perfect for Winks) and the other being a more progressive passer into the attacking players, something I don’t believe we have in our squad, with this position majorly lacking in depth. Overall, if Potter is appointed I struggle to see the likes of Mavididi and Fatawu fitting in his style of play unless they are converted into attacking wingbacks. But I also acknowledge for the likes of Winks, Hermansen and Vestegaard, Potter’s style of play accommodates them. Potter’s style is a less risky and more defensively sounded style of play compared to Enzo’s which I am all for, I just don’t believe we have the personnel to accommodate this without investment in key areas. But whether it be Corberan or Potter, both will require investment in the fullback, defensive midfield and attacking midfield positions. Corberan’s use of wingers is the reason he’s my first choice as I feel this is our strongest asset to our club. Appears the clubs shortlist order is as follows: 1) Potter 2) Corberan 3) Cooper Personally, I’m not buying that the club won’t pay £4m compensation for Corberan if they think he’s the right man moving forward. So it seems we are waiting on Potters decision and if he says no, it’ll be Corberan. Nothing against Potter but I’m hoping he says no so we can bring in Corberan.

It’s being quoted by ITK’s that they are willing to pay a fee for the right man, he’s also continued to be spoken about which if it was “no chance” why’s he still in contention? I have said it several times already, the club wouldn’t of accounted for the income received from Enzo, they would have had a plan on how to raise money so I genuinely don’t think £4m would be a deciding factor.

Still think it’ll be Corberan.

Interestingly, he looks to be playing on the left in an inverted role, could be his future in men’s game.

The money has always been there it's balancing the books on a year to year basis that has been the issue.

100%, the only thing that would potentially hold me off from selling him now is that one good season in the Prem and he's easily worth around £50m at his age. At the same time, holding out has bit us a few times in the past. It's the exact reason we should be targeting players like Sebastian Nanasi would cost no more than £7m and already has 12 goal contributions in as many games this season.

I was about to say the same thing, would be strange for all these reports to come out about Chelsea sticking with Sanchez then spend hefty money on a new goalkeeper. It is Chelsea though so who knows

A key thing for me as to why Moyes would not work is his use of a target man is vital in the way his team plays. Countless times I have seen Antonio holding the ball up to allow West Ham to get up the field, and if he loses the ball they are instantly on the backfoot. We don't have that option within the squad nor do we have holding midfielders which are again vital is Moyes' defensive structure. It's not that I don't think Moyes himself would be a bad appointment, I just think the players we have available in key areas are completely opposite to what Moyes would need.

Personally what attracts me about Corberan is the environments he has had to work in financially during his time in england, are identical to the situation we are currently in. He is the most experienced and has the best CV with regards to performing under these circumstances compared to the rest of the options available to us. To clarify this does not mean I think he has the best accomplishments, as I acknowledge Cooper's championship season and Moyes' european trophy.

Do you believe Moyes would still be as effective knowing that we do not have the players to suit his style of play and likely to have no money to reshape the squad to accommodate his style? Respect your opinion just intrigued to know if you have given thought into this?

I also find it hard to believe that the process will have already been completed, history shows we have always taken our time when it comes to employing a manager and give all candidates a thorough opportunity to detail what there plans would look like, for example wasn't Enzo's interview hours long? I find it strange how Lineker has mentioned so many possibilities as to why Cooper has to debate whether to take the job, especially considering he was the one applying for it. Seems to me that there have been many possibilities mentioned to lean back on and state "Cooper didn't feel he had security with regards to this" incase someone else gets employed. I personally don't believe Corberan's £4m release clause would be an issue should the club want him either, still leaves the club at a minimum of plus £5/£6m from managerial and staff change that they had not accounted for heading into the season.

I just find it hard to believe that Cooper is the main target and has been offered the job whilst all the actual ITK's (Fabrizio, Sacha Tavolieri and Percy) have been reporting mainly about Corberan. Especially with Tavolieri stating Corberan is keen to join us and turned down Burnley as a result of his interest.

Would be slightly disappointed if Cooper is the choice as I genuinely believe Corberan is the best option for us.

Personally would prefer Cooper to Potter. My personal order based of the most spoken about managers would be: 1) Corberan 2) Cooper 3) Potter 4) Moyes

Another interesting thing I found is the way Corberan likes to use his fullbacks running more inside the winger, is very similar to the runs made by Ricardo when he was moved further up in midfield, so he already has knowledge of the movement required there.
