Completely disagree. -
How many out, before we start getting any in.

In terms of spending cash, I would imagine they are trying to create some headroom with book value. Currently we roughly have the following still on the books: - Faes - £3m per year. - Souttar - £3m per year. - Okoli - £2.6m per year. - Kristensen - £3.4m per year. - Skipp - £4m per year. - Mavididi - £1.3m per year. - Fatawu - £3m per year. That total's around £20.3m currently on the books and we have raised around £14.5m profit through the sales of BEK and Monga. Obviously this is not including wages which I assume for most of these are huge for league one. -

I would take 7 goals from a second or third choice striker. -
Anything over £2.6m would be profit with his book value.
-
Can see this ending up around £15m with a heavy sell on clause.
-
The only way to view Skipp the next few seasons is how can you make the financial hit less painful. Fully covering wages and a loan fee is the best we can probably hope for.

As a back up goalkeeper, I don't mind it. Supposed to be a really good pro and leader in the dressing room, something you want in a back up goalie. I actually don't mind our signings so far as long as McCarthy and Ings are depth signings. It feels the toxic dressing room has finally been acknowledged and being replaced with good leaders to replace depth roles.

For anyone complaining about Conor Chaplin in League One, it is going to be a very long summer for you.

Paulos Abraham from Hammarby, valued around £2m to be added to this list.
-
Strikers: 1) Lorent Tolaj - Plymouth Argyle, valued around £3.5m. 2) Dominic Ballard - Leyton Orient, valued around £4.5m. 3) Tobias Lauritsen - Free Agent. 4) Samuel Adeniran - LASK, valued around £4m. 5) Johannes Eggestein - FK Austria Wien, valued around £2m. 6) Daniel Seland Karlsbakk - Sarpsborg 08, valued around £3.5m. 7) Ibrahim Diabate - GAIS, valued around £2m. 8) Mason Burstow - Hull City, valued around £2m. 9) Shumaira Mhueka - Chelsea, Loan. 10) Mikkel Ladefoged - Vasteras SK, valued around £1.5m. 11) Anosike Ementa - Zulte Waregram, valued around £2m.
-
Right Wingers: 1) Tudor Mendel-Idowu - Ipswich, Loan. 2) Moses Usor - LASK, valued around £4.5m. 3) Ryan McAidoo - Man City, Loan. 4) Montader Madjed - Hammarby, valued around £3m. 5) Kieran Morrison - Liverpool, Loan. 6) Tommi O'Reilly - Aston Villa, valued around £500k. 7) Evangelos Patoulidis - Sandefjord, valued around £1m. 8) Mads Kristian Hansen - Brommapojkarna, valued around £1m. 9) Cameron Congreve - Swansea city, Loan.

This is what impressed me the most with him. That type of movement in the box is instinctive, some pro’s struggle with it throughout their careers. For him to have that type of movement at his age, shows how clever and advanced he is at seeing the game. Very Vardy like performance from the young fella today.
-
I actually think the wingers are the one position where RM doesn’t really have a preference. As long as they are effective he kinda gives them the freedom to play to their strengths.

Truthfully I don’t have much of an opinion on this until end of the window. If he’s been signed to lead the line then it’s an awful signing, if he’s been brought in for depth and experience then I think it’s a really smart move. No middle ground, solely depends on the rest of the business we do. Players like him and BDCR whether people like it or not are needed in young squads. Likeable guys, hardworking, willing to help the youth and know their role within the squad. -
Agreed completely. I really hope Tudor Mendel-Idowu on loan or permanent from Ipswich is one of the winger additions!
-
Honestly we wouldn’t get promoted with that front line. I know we think highly of our academy lads but we need to be realistic. Right now the likes of Skipp and Mavididi they’re trying to get them out on permanent deals but think they’ll eventually settle for loans. Here’s how I see it ending up based on players wanting to leave and not suiting RM system. Sell / Loan: - Storlarczyk - Sell. - Nelson - Sell. - Faes - Sell. - Okoli - Loan. - Vesty - Contract termination. - Coulibaly - Sell. - Kristensen - Loan. - Winks - Sell. - Skipp - Loan. - Monga - Sell. - Mavididi - Loan. - Fatawu - Sell. Then the squad look like the following: GK - New goalkeeper, Vieties, Begovic/Bausor. RB - Hamza, Aluko, Joseph. CB - Souttar, Wilson-Brown, Grey, 2x signing. LB - Thomas, Joseph, 1x signing. CDM - Braybrooke, Hamza, 1x signing. CM - Page, Braybrooke, 1x signing. CAM - Bobby Reid, Chaplin, Alves, Page. RW - Thomas, 2x signing. LW - Alves, Thomas, 1x signing. ST - Evans, Otchere, Ings, 1x signing. Minimum 11 signings with Chaplin and Ings.
-
I think that’s the only position they’ll feel is okay with Hamza, Aluko and Joseph.
-
Realistically I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more when all said and done. I could see the following being needed: 2x centre back 1x left back 2x centre mids Connor Chaplin 2x left wingers 2x right wingers 1x striker Danny Ings I think that’s going to be a minimum need. I wouldn’t be shocked if they brought in 3 strikers if they don’t think any of the young lads are ready.

People have been crying out for the academy lads to be used this season, whilst also demanding automatic promotion. With the likely outgoings we simply won’t get promoted with a youth side. I would imagine there will be 2/3 of these type signings to guide the younger lads as this squad seriously lacks positive experience. -
So with the sales of Monga and BEK, I have it as we have now raised £14.5m profit. Currently on the books we still have around £20m per year. So I think essentially we will still need to sell someone for pure profit or clear someone’s book value prior to being balanced for the year. Selling Fatawu for example, for £15m will put us £3m in profit after balancing the yearly outgoings.

Left Winger: 1) Reyes Cleary - Barnsley, valued around £2.5m. 2) Ilias Sebaoui - St Truiden, valued around £2.5m. 3) Kyrell Lisbie - Peterborough, valued around £1.5m. 4) Rafiki Said - Standard Liege, valued around £3m. 5) Isak Bjerkebo - IK Sirius, valued around £3m. 6) Ben Broggio - Aston Villa, Loan. 7) Joseph Opoku - Zulte Waregram, valued around £3.5m.
-
Centre / Attacking Midfielders: 1) Rocco Shein - Fredrikstad FK, valued around £2m. 2) Mathias Christensen - Aalesunds FK, valued around £750k. 3) Owen Bailey - Doncaster Rovers, valued around £1.5m. 4) Kamari Doyle - Brighton, Loan. 5) Patrick Kelly - Barnsley, valued around £750k. 6) Isaac Hutchinson - Bristol Rovers, valued around £300k. 7) David Blanka - Banik Ostrava, valued around £2m. 8) Killian Phillips - St Mirren, valued around £750k. 9) Ludwig Thorell - Mjalby, valued around £1.5m.
-
Salford throwing money around then. Didn’t they just sign Joe Powell too?
-
He’s still got like £7.5m on the books sadly can’t see it being a permanent transfer, loan deal is most likely.
-
what would you like sending sorry mate? Smallbone’s stats?
