It’s Strange situation in football. Although the players and the manager have contracts, you sack the manager if he does not deliver results, but why can’t you sack the players?

I suspect it well may have been

This club has become toxic!!

Their body language even suggests they are not that interested, just going though the motions. Do they have an issue with the manager or does the manager have an issue with the players. In other games when there is a break in play the players go over to the sidelines an seek advise or direction, I don’t think I’ve seen that happen

Yes I agree he runs and try’s his best. Excellent runner, but should be an athlete not a footballer
