  1. The market has been quite tricky for a few years. I have been trading just as a hobby for many years, but nevertheless it’s a steep leaning curve with several mistakes en route. What to buy and when to sell is the magic formula.
  2. My portfolio took a hammering, but soon came back when RR & IAG announced shares buy back. Overall my portfolio is now 57% up, so I am quite happy at the moment
  3. It’s not over until the fat lady sings. I have a funny feeling we just might do it with some unexpected results
  4. RVN’s future depends on the West Ham game. If by some sort of miracle we win, then he stays. If we lose then he goes and the new man with his own team I suspect we have already lined up will be appointed. With the FA Cup weekend it allows more time for a new man to sort it.
  5. It’s a bit weird RVN did not bring in his own staff when he agreed to join, which is kinda the norm
  6. The basic problem which unfortunately can’t be changed, we have a squad of championship players and discards from premier league clubs. As demonstrated last night they do not have the technical ability and awareness of the opponents transitions to compete
  7. After the first goal, they gave up.
  8. Amateurs v professionals tonight. No fight, awareness, sloppy, played as though they did not care. Major problem behind the sciences I suspect. I cannot realistically see them winning or even drawing another game. Season is over
  9. Islay is probably the most convenient with several distilleries on the island, plus a very short ferry crossing to the next island Jura and their you will discover my favourite Jura Single Malt Bourbon Cask
  10. Will score 3 tonight
  11. You can’t say you have principles unless they cost you something. He will walk away within days
  12. It is gross incompetence they have had the whole of the transfer window to fix the desperate situation we are in and just one signing. Unbelievable, they could certainly not run a business.
  13. Watch this space, that’s all it will be
  14. Brazil, it’s nuts
  15. I suspect there are few possibles who are considering several options. If LCFC are going down, then no thanks. I think the Everton game is massive, if we win, then we will be successful in getting good quality players, if we lose, then we are doomed
  16. I travel from North Norfolk a round trip of over 200 miles, that’s the easy part, but the most frustrating part is leaving the clubs official car parks, that can take over an hour through the congested streets
  17. He would probably quit. I suspect LCFC have not delivered what they promised him
  18. We are in last chance saloon, we desperately need this sort of strong CD whatever the cost. Relegation would cost us more
  19. Plus, experience, experience, ideally premier league. The ship is sinking fast all hands to the pumps.
  20. The problem is the squad has no ‘star’ players who are game changers. Through inept recruitment by Cooper and Ruskin, RVN has inherited a squad who comfortably won the Championship, but none have Premiership quality. Even if we had a ‘Pep G as manager he would not get any better tune out of this mob. I hope he can turn it round, but needs to somehow get rid of half the existing squad and recruit players who can deliver his ideas. Unless something drastic is done in this window we are destined for the Championship
  21. Should keep him, he can’t be any worse than our current strikers, might be the missing link?
  22. We have got Cannon back, use him, nothing to lose now. Vardy has given us everything, but I feel his the tank is now running on empty
  23. Big question is why did we sign him in the first place. He was absolutely useless at Palace. Has to be Cooper, what a plonker !
