  1. These were all ‘low risk’ signings and didn’t put the future of the club in jeapordy.
  2. If trump wanted to invade Britain, occupy it and install a MAGA type government, could we defend it and would we even defend it?
  3. They’ve won six in a row as well. All logic suggests that they’ll be dropping points in the next few games because teams simply don’t win 8-9-10 games in a row (apart from peak Man City).
  4. One absolute battering from Liverpool in a week and threads like this will thankfully stop. Newcastle and Man City will be within 2 and 3 of them then too.
  5. Think they’re expecting 21k according to the Mercury
  6. Who’ll get a bigger crowd Saturday, city or tigers?
  7. I guess autism is on a spectrum so we all have autistic ‘traits’ and your son will be at the higher end of that. I’m at the lower end but profound enough that it’s impacted the way I interact with others. It’s also just entered our language hasn’t it, everything is a bit autistic or adhd these days as if it’s a adjective when it’s actually debilitating for those who meet criteria for a diagnosis. Also big up, raising a child with autism is hard but with loving parents I can’t imagine anything more rewarding.
  8. As somebody actually slightly autistic, Trump absolutely isn’t, he’s just a narcissistic weirdo. Musk has more of an argument, his social adaptation is appalling.
  9. The problem was, and where I have a little sympathy, is that you had everyone in the media saying that he should take the arsenal and Tottenham job, I distinctly remember 606 after the Everton 94th minute winner home game and Savage saying that those teams should pay whatever for Rodgers. A week later he signed a massive contract.
  10. It’s more the pissing it away that annoys people. If there was an ounce of competence and we had rotten luck then people would be less angry. Yes we’re in the upper % of teams that have ‘overachieved’ but generally I don’t believe in that in this current age. The best clubs are also the most sustainable
  11. You literally have Bournemouth floating in the top half of the Prem. By size alone they’re League One/Two. But nobody overachieves at this level, you’re as good as the system you create. We had a system and we dismantled it all, for what? To stroke Brendan Rodgers ego?
  12. Their breach was minor and certainly not in the spirit of screw the rules. If they did go hell for leather they’d have gotten a much bigger deduction.
  13. Forest are 8th in the home table for a reason, because they have to dictate the play.
  14. He’s not the finished deal but he’s clearly a talent based on his stats and will become a top player. And we’re letting him go, like that
  15. Problem is if they get a sound beating off of Liverpool, it can knock confidence. They’ll naturally get injuries which will also impact them. As we saw in 2020-21, it doesn’t take much to knock you off your stride. Both Newcastle and Villa limped over the line despite being in a very similar position. They’re flying at the minute but all logic suggests it can’t continue and Newcastle and Man City are lurking once those points are dropped.
  16. The one in Leicester in October had loads of tickets left during the week it took place in. So just wait and they’ll come out. It’s only the big events that sellout.
  17. The champions league isn’t the financial boom that it used to be. They will still have to sell over the summer like Villa had to sell Douglas Luiz. And given the make up of their squad, it’ll have to be one of the star players that has got them there.
  18. For anyone but Liverpool to win the league, they’d need to win every game and hope that Liverpool went into 6th-8th form, which quite frankly is not gonna happen. They’re far too good.
  19. He did a whole section in the pod as to basically why it won’t be them although there is a small risk with the stadium loan
  20. He said they don’t play in red and considering us and Forest would be the main candidates, it’ll be us
  21. Chelsea have hit a buffer though.
  22. If I remember right, Newcastle were basically in the same position two seasons ago? Even closer to first?
  23. Severe red alert for Barrow if anyone lives there. Stay safe.
  24. Isak breaking Vardy’s record and Forest winning the league would basically mean 2015/16 is wiped from the history books.
  25. Forest are so well coached, it’s crazy. And so incredibly disciplined at the rear third.
