Thing you have to remember about Soumare is that within our squad, his ceiling is probably one of the highest. He’s just been unable to do it for us. Now he has a manager who has history of getting quality out of a player of his technical ilk (Sangare), there is a chance he will get towards that ceiling. If he’s delivering 8/10’s every week then we stay up comfortably.
With 5 minutes to go, Ipswich were 1 point from us. Now they’re 5.
That is a tremendous point.
Newcastle next week is an opportunity to get something as they’re incredibly inconsistent.
Because we can beat teams like Southampton, West Ham and Bournemouth and anyone in the bottom half. Brighton are a very good team and not in our league.
Well yeah, provided he wasn’t killed at the scene, it’s gonna take some time to actually distinguish how severe the injuries are. At best looking at the wreck, there’s going to be hours and hours of operations etc. it’s awful.
So when Juventus got booted out of serie A in 2006, they were placed at the bottom of the table without deductions, and only two others got relegated instead of three. So one would assume that’s the precedent.
Not sure about that, given how the shareholder situation works. I absolutely could not see a team that finishes 17th once hypothetical points deduction are administered accepting relegation.
We always seem to do well in New Zealand. Should’ve won the last series there 2-0 but for a meltdown. Is it because the conditions are most similar to England?
