  1. Keep going 💙
  2. Coming off anti-d’s is basically like training for a marathon. However slowly you think you’re doing it, you need to do it even slower to get something from it. Even a lot of doctors don’t seem to understand this. It’s a long, long process and that’s the safest way to do it!
  3. This seems healthy, fair play, a lot of us need to take this approach
  4. It’s either the wolves player or there’s a match fixing scandal about to drop
  5. Those who’ve really taken up following a non league side, do you get more joy/despair from it than supporting Leicester? mate of mine is an Everton fan but got a season ticket at Marine and said it’s made football 100x better for him. He feels part of something again.
  6. Stolarczyk is fit. He should without any shadow of a doubt be starting this game. He is a quality shot stopper. The fans rate him, the defence will have more confidence in him. It’s a must.
  7. Who could we have played there? Faes?
  8. This is a weird one, what else is he meant to do, play no midfielders at all?
  9. As time goes on, I think it probably doesn’t look as bad on Rodgers. I said on the other thread that he was a coward for not walking when Kasper was sold and he’d have gained a lot more credit from the fanbase for doing that.
  10. If the US forces in Syria started fighting against Turkish forces, could one of them trigger article 5?
  11. Everyone that posts in here does it so honestly, so deeply, so openly, you’re all amazing people, doing YOUR best in the circumstances that have been presented to you. You’re not a failure, you have nothing to feel guilty about.
  12. It’s certainly entering a glory era. Littlerr would’ve increased interest last year but there’s so many characters these days
  13. Got even better
  14. In fairness, Ruud has far more coaching experience than those guys did. He’s earned his stripes. We’re a basket case club now sadly it will take someone a lot stronger than him to turn it around. We’re seeing now how good Enzo is and he still nearly messed it up here.
  15. The ultimate decision to save money by letting Kasper go on the assumption Ward was good has ironically cost us probably at least 100x more than Kasper’s wages for that one season would’ve. One of the most horrendous decisions in club history?
  16. At the very least Iversen does not concede the third goal yesterday, and who knows with the first given the clear communication errors.
  17. I’d be willing to give Stolarczyk a run if it meant using the funds in other areas that would 100% need the investment more.
  18. Like Tom Collomosse said on the BSLB podcast, Rudkin got lucky in Maresca. He wanted Parker, he ended up with the best current coach in English football. Everything is making it up as he goes along, there is no strategy. The clubs that do well have a strategy and they recruit around that strategy. It did not have to be this way and it does not have to continue being this way.
  19. Yeah, you can include Leeds in that too. It was catastrophic for all three of us. There’s now clearly a ‘Prem-Champ lite’ of team who will probably jump between the two leagues for another few years such is the gap.
  20. Three promoted teams getting relegated two seasons running is a shocking indictment for the league isn’t it? Like somewhere something is going badly wrong. Other fans just pass it off that us, Ipswich, Burnley, Luton, sheff United and Southampton are terrible teams but there has to be more to it.
  21. I think on reflection the thing I most dislike about Brendan Rodgers now is that he didn’t walk at the beginning of 2022/23. It was clear he’d lost any belief in the hierarchy but waited for the pay off. If he’d have walked then it would’ve brought a lot more attention to the situation. Likewise I wish Maresca had been a bit more vocal on the things that clearly made him uncomfortable at the club. I assume Top is a nice person, so a) those people won’t slag him off publicly which is fair enough b) it means that it’s incompetence rather than anything more toxic, and I’m not sure that makes it any better.
  22. Always use lubricant.
  23. They were decent keepers in their day though, just ancient when we bought them. Ward is and always will be crap.
  24. What’s worrying is that any manager who had done their due diligence and watched Stolarczyk’s FA Cup performances last season, would’ve thrown him in over Ward.
  25. That would be suicide for the club. Might as well suck up another relegation.
