We should definitely be looking at Sainz in January. I liked Doughty last season but haven't seen much of him this season and I know he's out injured at the moment.
-
This is who i want @Ryy do you know something?
-
Anybody who phones into talksport won't have a clue what they are talking about. They don't want people on the show that know their stuff, they want idiots to talk utter nonsense as that is apparently more popular. Most of the people that are actually on the show are idiots that talk utter nonsense as well so it all fits

Can Foxes Talk influence Managerial decisions ?
jayfox26 replied to Elsie Effcee's topic in Leicester City Forum
Seeing as most on here wanted Rodgers sacked at least 6 months before he was, and nobody on here wanted Cooper, I doubt very much they would read or even care what the fans think. They are so distant from the fans in terms of match day experience etc so zero chance they'd give 2 fuchs about who we think should be the manager etc. Rudkin would have also gone a while ago if anyone at the club listened to the fans. -
Fair enough just think he'd be a huge risk. Totally different managing PSV who would have already had a decent squad and are one of the top 3 teams in the Dutch league than managing us in a relegation battle where we need to start winning games immediately.
-
Whilst Pearson built the title winning squad and obviously built the club back up, I just can't see how Ranieri wouldn't be top after winning the league. Rodgers did great for a few seasons and the fa Cup win was huge, but he'll always be tarnished because of the way he acted in his final season and the absolute shit show he left us in. Pearson built a squad for Ranieri and you could argue Puel built a squad for Rodgers. Then Rodgers destroyed it after having initial success

Based on what?

Going nowhere near Leicester hopefully

With the right manager absolutely. We have some good players and we just need the right manager to get the best out of them. We need recruitments, especially defensively and Fatawu is a huge loss, but I still feel we have enough to stay up, if we can improve the defence in Jan
-
The timing would suggest we've got someone lined up but that would suggest our board have a plan and are competent and we all know thats not the case
-
Plenty of good managers abroad I'm sure but I'm not overly familiar with too many foreign managers for me to be able to comment on them but closer to home, Moyes would be a firefighter and keep us up but not sure he's a long term fix. For a potential long term plan I'd go with Carrick. Think he's a good coach and has Boro playing some good football and hasn't had much to spend with them.
-
Get him gone in Jan. A new manager won't change his shit attitude and the fact he doesn't want to be here. Can see all of Europe's top clubs will be queuing up to sign him.
-
Strange timing as you'd think they'd have done it before the international break. Can't help but feel the players, or certain players, may have had a hand in this. If so, then good on them, sometimes the players need to stand up and make the people at the top known if things aren't right. Bad news for some of them though is that they may get binned pretty quick by a new manager if they don't improve performances soon
-
What is he or any of the muppet pundits basing this on? He got Forest promoted and just about kept them up but I've never seen anything from him in his career that suggests he's any better than an average championship manager. Nuno has proven that Forest had some decent players on their books and now he's getting the best out of them. Proper winds me up when pundits and fans of other clubs say we are impatient and have unrealistic expectations, is it unrealistic to have a gameplan, pick the strongest team available and not play some of the most hideous football we've seen in years? Not even arsed about us losing games and being near the bottom, that's totally expected but the performances really are horrendous
-
Yes i was about to say that me being that way isn't just exclusive to watching Leicester 🤣
-
Maybe they do it the right way. Maybe I shouldn't get so annoyed and angry when we play and just sit back smiling and clap. My wife and kids would certainly prefer that than me constantly being a grumpy, miserable bastard 🤣.
-
I do love going in the fb pages and winding up the happy clappers. Honestly don't know why these feckers even bother, they genuinely don't give a shite who our manager is, how shit, we play, how bad our results are or what league we play in. Literally zero fcks given across the board. Some of these odd balls would have been happy for Rodgers to carry on destroying the club and have us on the way to the national league. The frightening misconception that "supporting" the club is happy clapping along regardless of how pathetic we are. I don't think this is just exclusive to LCFC though, I don't think many people have the same passion for football like they have previously as the games on its arse. Cooper out, Rudkin out, Whelan out, happy clappers out, Faes out. In fact can we just factory reset the club and start again please
-
Problem is, Rudkin and Top won't admit they were wrong. Sacking him now would be them admitting it and they just won't. Add in the fact the media pundits "experts" seem to think our fans are unrealistic and impatient and think we don't like Cooper cos he was at Forest. Christ, even a fair few of our fans don't think he should be sacked. Clubs a joke and our passive fan base are an embarrassment!
-
Gvardiol having a shocker. At fault for both goals.
-
For me, we all fully expected a tough season and a relegation battle. I can absolutely accept we will lose more than we'll win and I can accept losing to Man U and Chelsea etc. But what I can't accept is the garbage performances where we offer nothing. Both Man U and Chelsea are defensively dreadful and we've barely laid a glove on either. A new manager may not keep us up but I'm convinced that any half decent manager would have us putting up more of a fight than the utter shite we're witnessing at the moment. The last 4 league games have been an abomination. Forest was embarrassing, Ipswich we were awful and scraped a late draw after they had a sending off and then Man U and today have also been completely woeful. Like i said, could accept these results if we were having a go and just a bit unlucky but we're not, we're completely and utterly useless!
-
It's staggering. The vast majority on here can see the mess and want change. Look on social media though and it's clear our fanbase is full of "happy to be here" and "we were in league 1 once" people. Makes me sick that so many of our so called fans genuinely don't seem to give a shit if we are good or not.
-
We'd have been better keeping Nelson than playing Faes. At least it would have given him some prem experience. Not saying Nelson would be good enough yet for the prem (and I know he's injured now) but at least he'd give 100% and want to be here unlike the clown we have playing now.
-
If we don't go down this season then the 3 teams that finish below us will be getting a seriously low points tally.
-
Reckon we only brought him in as a panic because Daka was Injured. We'd have been better keeping Cannon 🤦♂️

They sold 1. Bought by Danny himself. He had pride of place in his living room.
