Does anyone here honestly believe that Cooper makes the squad better than, or at least as good as, the sum of its parts? That is a simple ask of a manager, no? Or is there that much of a talent gap between us and Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town, Everton, and Palace? It’s OK to admit we’re not in a desirable position as a club.
