I’d be shocked if he ever returned. He has firsthand experience of the mess at the club.
-
He’s a billionaire’s son.
-
Can’t imagine how happy he is seeing the club he loves so much travel back to the south coast with 3 points after it looked so dire at halftime.

The players spend their days training a resort that none of them deserve. -

Burn down Seagrave -
My apologies to you all.

Shame on everyone who was questioning the great Andy King earlier!

Here’s another match thread where people forget that players get rotated for midweek games.

With the way his signings continue to haunt us, it’s like he never left.

Tbf, that was such a stupid post by the BCFC account. If we weren’t in such a horrible spot, we'd all be making fun of it.

I met Deano after our relegation and he seemed to have PTSD when I mentioned Leicester to him, I’m not sure why he would put himself through that again! I don’t think he was put in a very fair position and the situation with our players had to have been much more toxic than what he was sold. Solid guy and a good manager but I’m sure he’ll have better offers where he can make more of an impact.
-
On the bolded point: he’s is a zealot about the style he wants to play and has absolute faith in its effectiveness without proof of its effectiveness in different scenarios. There’s a lot of correlation -equals-causation in his thoughts about tactics.
-
Based on his interviews, I’d add to the list that he also seems to believe he knows much more about tactics than he actually does. That said, I’ve spoken to people who were at Southampton during his tenure and they were all very complimentary of Martin’s personality and how he treated everyone at the club. I think that’s excellent quality for younger players and our jaded veterans to be around. I just think we need someone who can get us some clean sheets and ugly points; I don’t know that he’s the man for that particular job.

Not even close. Just checked and “It Was A Good Day” only has 1.5 billion listens on Spotify…rookie numbers.

Tbf, it’s a classic but still no 12 Days of Ormondroyd!

Absolutely heartbreaking that none of the boys know Ice Cube.

Leicester's 2016 title-winners arrange own reunion after club snub

This isn’t just about one player wanting the club to foot the bill for him to meet up with his mates. A bunch of the players from that squad have been trying for many months to arrange something meaningful with the club to mark the anniversary. -

They do. They see this as an opportunity to reconnect fans and reconnect with the fans. The way our owner and other execs have flat-out refused to do anything is hurtful to a lot of those players who love the club and the supporters. -
Another window that shows how clueless they are about our current trajectory toward a consecutive relegation.

There’s no way we’ve even started this process. Top did his interview, sacked Marti, and flew back home to Thailand.

Likely too soon for any of them to step in as manager but the boys from the title-winning season are very hurt about the state of the club and want to step in with real football roles, from the academy up to the first team. I have no faith in the clowns in charge reaching out to them for input but I pray they do.
