Ah, gotcha! This makes sense— thank you for explaining! -
Early AGM: Your Chance To Change The Foxes Trust
The_77 replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
I fear this will start a never-ending cycle of retaliatory votes to remove board members unless a quorum is established for these votes (ie, minimum % of membership voting). -
Oh, jeez. I had blocked that out of memory. Pure insanity.
-
Best healthy RB at the club by a distance. We better have someone else coming in.

Early AGM: Your Chance To Change The Foxes Trust

I agree that the membership should have the ability to oust ineffective or negligent board members, or board members who are not carrying out the interests of the Trust, but is the motion just based on 66% of total votes cast? There should be a minimum threshold of total votes/percentage of membership voting to avoid a small number of members sneaking a vote through. -
Hey, it’s a mean feat to get that fee for Danny Ward up to £12M from £120K.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
The_77 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ruud was too naive today. He better fix that, and fast. But it’s still ridiculous to think things were better under Cooper, he just had more healthy players to choose from, everything was a total mess under his watch. -
Normally I’d be concerned but Thomas is going up against Leon Bailey, I think he’ll be OK.
-
Genuinely insane for anyone to write off a CB who’s only 23 and involved in the Italian National Team setup. He needs a run of games next to an experienced, positionally-sound partner. Unfortunately, we’re lacking in that area.
-
We don’t have a single goal scored from outside the box this season. We need someone who can score the occasional banger to give the squad and our fans a lift.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Iversen hasn’t played a match all season. I doubt you would find any professional managers who would handle this the way you wanted. Ruud saw the games with his own eyes and as soon as Stolarczyk was fit and ready, Ward was out. It’s not the scandal or malpractice that you’re making it out to be. -

The Hamburg job was there for his taking but he chose us instead. -

And how many training sessions would he have had Stolarczyk for? Ruud’s barely been at the club, this is such an absurd overreaction. We just played some of our best football of the season this week. -
It’s wild. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that much talent play with such little confidence before. I agree, it was frustrating not to do better against such a sagging side. But I guess they’re still Man City and still very dangerous, as they showed during our two defensive lapses.
-
I’m sorry but that’s just not true that we barely laid a glove on them. We controlled large parts of the game and set up several chances that we should have converted. Man City were very lucky to get out with all three points, especially after two posts, a goal line clearance, and a golden chance flubbed by Vardy. We played them tough and we were successful in imposing our tactics, we just couldn’t finish.

Liverpool 3-1 LCFC, post match thread
The_77 replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
The players probably aren’t good enough but at least there seems to be some sort of game plan each week that they’re trying to implement, which is much different to how we used to just get it to Ayew and pray. Let’s also not forget how much of a debacle the preseason was and how nobody at or around the club had any idea of what we were trying to do under Cooper (including Cooper) for many months. -

Mavididi has to slow down attacks, otherwise he’s our only player in the attacking third. We simply don’t get upfield quickly enough and he’s forced to counter on his own. He played an excellent first half tonight and laid on a great cross for Daka in the second half that should have given us a sniff at tying the game. -
Just a heads up for anyone coming in for the Newcastle game on Sunday: Copa90 will be joining us to film us for a project. It should be a fun morning and we’re expecting a big group for the game, so come on down.

JJ and Faes were 100x worse than them.

Clearly I’ve had a little too much Van Nistelrooy chat on my brain. 😂 The customers ordering bottle service tell the bar what to put on those signs, the nightclub isn’t putting an inside joke on one of those signs, don’t be ridiculous, one of the players gave them that message.
-
Some random Dutch waitress knew to put that on a sign without any direction from the players?
