The dominated the half and won the half. OK, maybe they didn’t deserve four or five goals, but my reply was to the poster who said they didn’t do anything with the ball.

We had a few very well-timed blocks and, don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled we got the luck with the collective effort shown in our box. But Ipswich did a lot more than “**** all” with the ball and I don’t think we should imply it was an even half.

They created plenty of good scoring chances and completely dominated the 2nd half. Hard to argue that we weren’t a bit fortunate not to blow the point today.

One of the problems with relying on loan players in a relegation dogfight, that decision might be out our hands.

I saw the protest on television in NYC as did anyone across America watching on CBS Sports Network or Paramount+. The match commentator also spoke about the protest and was very aware of what was going on.

Might have been in town to see his mate Balague so decided to catch some football and try one of the sausage and cheese rolls they have near the owner’s box.

Cambiasso was the type of shrewd signing that we made during the Pearson era. He was incredible and played a huge role in our survival. However, it’s ridiculous how one story about Cambiasso looking at our remaining fixtures over lunch and trying to add up where we’d get our points has turned into him masterminding the Great Escape. I haven’t double-checked the stats but I’m fairly certain that only Leicester City and Arsenal completed that Premier League season without losing a league game by more than two goals. We finished the season in 14th place, a fantastic result for that squad. Pearson was an excellent manager and squad-builder for us— even the slightest insinuation that he wasn’t is utterly farcical.

Should Wednesday fans have waited to protest Chansiri until he was forced to sell? The sale of an entity the size of Leicester City Football Club won’t suddenly happen in a week. It will take months, at a minimum, to work out any kind of deal. In the meantime, supporters try to do what they can to hasten the start of that process and to express dissatisfaction with how the owner is handling our club.
