It looks like the promoted three will be going back down again. Wolves, Everton etc. are decent enough to get five to six more wins. and will get enough points to get to high thirties. Ipswich will get low to mid 30s and we’ll do well to get to 30. Southampton maybe 15-20.

I couldn’t understand the substitutions, too late and generally strange, may as well of played Alves as we had nothing to lose at 2-1

My brother who’s a Villa fan said Leicester were dross overall and that Villa were very poor anyway. He said we lacked ambition and were generally negative and deserved what we got. Nothing!

Maybe there’s a cunning plan? -

As long as Jordan scores I won’t care. Facundo can come on and do his stuff later on. -
We’ll need at least 35 points to stay up, that’s 6 wins, 3 draws minimum. I think we need to beat Villa personally.

There was little difference between us playing Man city and ipswich playing Chelsea in terms of difficulty. Except they are getting 3 points and we took 0.
-
Agree but there’s still a difference between Chelsea and Bournemouth. Ipswich against Chelsea is very unexpected. Us versus Bournemouth is points we should be getting imho.

Enzo meltdown once again. Stubbornness vs. practicality

Bottom two for us by New Year. Gulp!

Could This Be the Most Important January Ever?
oxtonfox replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes it’s the most important and pivotal January ever because its next month and past Januarys dont matter. My concern is 1. The lack of quality we have and 2. The mental fragility, we can’t hold on to a dog collar let alone a lead. We simply fold like cards when under pressure or conceding a goal. Need more than a couple of decent players, we need a team of psychologists and some steel. -
Always 8 for Amazon.

If it’s odds then they’re being very stingy at 33/1.

I remember Steve Coppell resigning from Man City with Frannie Lee the chairman sat beside him. It was after about 4 weeks because he felt the job was too difficult for him. I have a feeling Ruud could do the same given this squad and our situation.
-
So the crisis club is murdering us. You couldn’t make this up. No fight or brainpower in this team.
-
Need to seal up this defence. It’s hopeless as we’re rarely going to score 3 or 4 to win a game. So 1. New defender in January, 2. Keep Mads fit and 3. A shrewd signing who can get us a few key goals.

Has to be a win. It’s the must win of all must wins in given the following three matches, with zero points expected.

Newcastle 4 Leicester 0 Post Match Thread
oxtonfox replied to OntarioFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Maybe the last two match results papered over the cracks. We should have lost versus Brighton but didn’t and we’re still conceding mid twenty chances per game. No side will keep a clean sheet or win too many doing that. I think we’re just a poor squad and poor side regardless of manager, Ruud or Coops. We’ve slipped back to the level of performance against Man U and Brentford recently and I’m wondering if that’s the norm. It’s a toothless and a defeated attitude that is pailful to endure -
Imagine this thread now if Cooper was the manager.
-
this is getting horrendous with Mads out aswell , just need some respectability now.
-
We’re going to have to shothouse another result somewhere. A little unfair on Hamza really seeing as it’s his first full game. We’ve got to play more together to get anything here. Bring on Facundo for Kasey and see if we can magic something up.

What! So you're saying there's no Winks, Wilf and Wicardo? in true Monty Python Life of Brian style

Don’t worry, they’ll be like Barca in two weeks time.
