  1. Its not that we have no chance - but we are a long long way from the arrogant triumphalism (HMS Pisstheleage etc) of a while ago. So yes, we could still go up. Personally I doubt we will, but let's see
  2. Someone on here earlier said this would be a season defining game didn't they?
  3. How much longer?
  4. This - absolutely.
  5. Yes indeed. I don't want a cup run this year. Priority is to get up. But a practice session for the team would be useful
  6. We drew there in the 1961 cup semi final against Sheff Utd. Won the replay at St Andrews, Birmingham
  7. True. But we should have more class than Cov
  8. True....my bad. But still at the Shitty Ground, although I think it was our first win there for 20 years
  9. Don't get the hate for Cov. There but for the grace of God could have gone us. Instead of Khun Vichai it could have been hedge funds, games in Northampton and eventually a stadium in the middle of nowhere. Their achievement in coming back from that deserves respect. Forest is a different story. Would love to see the Shitty Ground burn down!
  10. Is it though? Didn't we go up in the last minute a few years back there?
  11. yes it will....and it could easily happen. I really worry about the level of optimism with half the season still to play
  12. No we're not - not with half the season left!
  13. I think it is because Sheff Wed were formed by engineering apprentices who had Wednesday afternoon off. Any Wednesday fans on here can confirm?
  14. please, please, no over-confidence here....
  15. Unless something changes we may struggle to be in the play offs
  16. this is the point..we were unexpectedly poor in the previous two matches. Something, somewhere is wrong
  17. we should also be cautious about asserting that the table doesn't lie (13 out of 15). While that is true, it is only really true when the season is over. The table at the moment is a backward looking indicator - it tells us what has been and that, unfortunately, does not necessarily tell us what is ahead. (past performance is not a guide to future performance as investment firms are forced to say in their adverts)
  18. well..trying to put some balance on a shite evening... Enzo warned that defeats would inevitable come, and it came to a really good side. So not the end of the world by any means. But... It is the manner of the defeat that worries, coming as it did after unexpectedly poor performances against Sunderland and QPR. To lose to a good side is one thing but to have no shots on target is quite another. Lots for Enzo to think about
  19. Leeds away
  20. true.....but we havent got a draw.....
  21. People say that in Leicester too!
