Gary Lineker cares a lot about refugees until someone becomes available to vote for who actually has a track record of advocating for their human rights. Maybe because that same someone also wants to tax properly Gary Lineker's exorbitant wealth for very, very little work.

By the way no one cared about Gary's commitment to BBC impartiality when he literally tweeted "Bin Corbyn" in 2017. It's as if when there was a politician who actually cared about refugees he was fair game because he threatened Gary's big houses and tax dodging. Man's a virtue signalling clown.

I don't watch it but if I did I wouldn't watch it because he was presenting it. To be honest I'd be more likely to tune in if it was just rolling highlights without the dad jokes and so-called "analysis". Bin the lot of them.

I still maintain the only way in the short to medium term that Rodgers leaves is if another club comes in for him rather than being sacked. I think the most likely is Tottenham. The hierarchy at the top of the club love him.

I find when journalists treat him with respect, like with the interview posted, he is affable and engaging. Much more so than most football managers who when you try and get to know them are boring bastards. When journalists prod and poke him for a soundbite then he doesn't like it but would any of us?
