  1. Fine with these people going and wish them well but apprehensive about the club relying wholely on Maresca to bring in their replacements, if that's the plan. We should learn from Rodgers that giving managers carte blanche is not a good idea.
  2. Maddison, with one year left on his deal and the attention his personality brings, was our loss leader. Barnes should be a high mark up sale. Every pound we make on him is pure profit on our balance sheet. Fleece any suitors and be confident we can keep him here if they don't play ball.
  3. Rudkin literally trying to bring in a guy called Adolf to make him seem less of a bad guy.
  4. In 1978 Derek Fazakerley suffered a shoulder impairment injury that meant he couldn't place his hands on his hips. Such an inspiration. Stay strong, Derek 🫡☺️❤️
  5. Scott Parker seeing the Fox and Crop clobber in the club shop.
  6. If I see Scott Parker wearing that ****ing cardigan in early August I'm walking out the ground.
  7. Knowing out owners they will be looking at a Belgian manager to try and convince Tielemans to sign another contract, not realising he's already gone.
  8. M42 service station owners when Tielemans starts training
  9. It's more that when he tracks back he runs like a baby hippo.
  10. Me seeing him out in Quorn
  11. Moyes will absolutely kill this lad. West Ham, with the way they play, is a terrible move for him. Even Antonio has admitted that playing for Moyes means you are "working with scraps".
  12. Definitely. Soon as I see one of those cardigans in our dugout I'm off to support Anstey Nomads.
  13. Simon Jordan is the only person in football media that I can see who says it how it is. He's in the middle of the groupthink of boy's club ex-player pundits and bedroom Youtubers with all the gear but no idea.
  14. Personally I like Smith as a person and his career, when looked at in the whole, is at least satisfactory. The bigger problem his appointment would indicate is the laziness and lack of ideas it speaks to in Rudkin, Whelan and Top. Then again, we already knew about that.
  15. Would be happy for him to resign if the club can have a modicum of confidence about his fitness. People on the website don't have the intricate knowledge of his injuries the decision makers will.
  16. If we have to suffer 5-3-2 Nuno narcolepsyball then i'm supporting Anstey Nomads.
  17. Completely changes my view on him if this comes off. I would initially of thought that the running down of his contract here was a clever way of ensuring you can choose a bigger club without restriction to whom you can join. If this is true then it turns out it was a lazy way of ensuring you can bag yourself the biggest package possible whilst still being comfortable at a middling club.
  18. Like any protagonist in a Clint Eastwood or Arnold Schwarzenegger movie; he's got one last job.
  19. Feel that though he had defiencies Smith has been honest about the situation all the way through. A missed penalty away from mission accomplished really.
  20. Fulham's best defender, best attacking midfielder and best striker are all out for this game. Won't have a better chance this season to go there and beat them.
  21. Problem now is that if we go down teams will be in for him.
  22. or us with no Maddison and Tielemans lmao
  23. Cheers Ward's crying. Nice one
