I was talking about some of my worries about Marti off the back of the last game on this thread and copped a fair bit back (which is fair enough). But that lineup this evening is not good. Surely people would agree that Mavididi and Soumare don't deserve to retain their place?

I think the speed of (or lack of) the progress means we won't get promoted this year. Are fans broadly ok with that? I'm not! Today was an opportunity to lay down a marker. With the strongest side (mostly), at home in a derby....the pressing wasn't there and we were turgid for 30 mins. I'm not sure why people are seeing past that? Also nobody mentioning that cov had a couple of chances themselves too.

Disagree. The subs were all too late. The fact that Soumare played a whole 90 and Awey about 85 is a joke.

In the first 10 mins I thought he looked really poor but he grew into the game. By the end I was gutted he came off.

The two things I was led to believe was he will bring youngsters through and we would press in an attacking sense. I'm not convinced I've seen either. He's dropping far too many points and his tactical direction seems to be given it to Abdul and pray for magic. Relentless passing in our own defensive third is not the thing that will get the fans behind the team.
