  1. (Tw)Attwell? I hadn’t realised as I’m supposed to avoid his games on Dr’s orders! Many years ago one typical display of his version of officiating gave me heart rhythm problems, I had to remove myself from his vicinity and sit on the concourse steps it was that bad. His decisions aren’t just bad they’re illogical. The ball changes direction but he denies that contact was made etc. He was described by a PL manager as a “Danger to players safety” as he lets so much go unpunished but then blows for the slightest thing at other times. If Vardy’s incident was a coming together so were the three or four that led to Brighton FK’s on the edge of our box.
  2. Lamptey is one of the most attacking right backs in the league. Some of Ayews attempted tracking looked like me running (jogging) for a bus with a pint in one hand and pizza in the other. He was often 10-15 yards off the pace leaving VK outnumbered. Agree, he has worked well as an impact sub, an extra body around the box, closer to Vardy and the AM but out wide, from the start, sorry no.
  3. Re the club asking why you have not attended, perhaps that’s the sort of thing the fan liaison groups could ask about - “Why are you asking this” and “what do you do with the information/ responses”.
  4. It is. The first time I took it seriously, I had a heavy flu that would have been selfish to share with those sat around me and I entered a detailed report of my symptoms like a sick note. Most other times it’s because Sky have moved the game to a stupid time. I wish they’d email about the games I did attend, “sorry we were s** t on Saturday and set out to keep the score down like a training drill, We know you paid hard earned money to watch this shower of s**t and humbly apologise for the pitiful display you witnessed”
  5. Brighton player so Innaleg, illega, intallega….not allowed to play
  6. Reminds me of....
  7. I thought they were going to be playing their football in Liverpool, not Swimming Pool ?
  8. I got flashbacks of the Moscow game with that run through and finish, in that game he looked like he'd score on every break. He should arrive at training buoyant and positive after last night and realise he has the opportunity to build on it and impress the new manager. He seems to play on instinct, the quicker the break, the fewer touches required the better, more than looking to link up with slower build ups where you may have multiple options on. If he plays alone up there he'll need a degree of the more patient hold up play too, waiting for support to arrive, a breakaway 1 on 1 won't always be on.
  9. Was he still thinking of Danny Ward when he said that? I mean at least Mads starting position for saving shots is somewhere between the two posts, a huge improvement on Ward. Maybe someone can make a compilation of Mads great saves this season and send a link to Mr "Magoo" Derksen.
  10. It will be interesting what he does when Winks is fit as he said he sees the deep midfield 2 as the solid protection for the back four and he may prefer "units" in there rather than craft and playmaking. The ideal is a bit of both (from each player), Premier League footballers should be able to pas the ball not treat it as a hot potato, I'm sure Winks is a ball winner too but he may look to get the protection sorted as a priority and match the physicality of the opposition. With the Christmas schedule approaching I wouldn't be surprised to see Hamza alongside Wilf for a game here and there. Still not sure what Skipp's best asset is, some say "Work-rate" but for their wages that should be a given (cough "Soumare"). Winks seems to be that modern day good all rounder CM with a bit of everything but ha he played last night I could se him being out muscled and the game passing him by. The old debate about picking horses for courses or setting the agenda yourself and letting the opposition worry about you and your selection rather than constantly bowing over to countering theirs.
  11. “Fox in the box socks” get on it marketing men. Maybe it’s like “Billy’s Boots” (ask Grandad) from Roy Of The Rovers and Tiger
  12. It was perfectly intelligible, I caught something about Vardy having the winning bid on a bit of Clarence Cliff pottery for £700
  13. “Bilal, your first goal, an assist…..please give the MOTM award to Ndidi, Townsend’s p***ed!”
  14. What is this strange feeling I’m having, forgotten what it’s like to be left smiling. And what exactly are these “Babbles” their fans blow? Baubles perhaps? And the ref looked nothing like Brian Cant?
  15. I can see us getting a point out of this at least now
  16. The token Faes brain fart
  17. Not super, smashing or great by Bowen there
  18. Boo, token soft goal
  19. Leicester have their Patson Hip hip hip hooray Leicester have their Patson and he’s scoring goals today
  20. Go on Patson gerrin there!
  21. The living legend that is Bobby DeCordova-Reid. Build the f*****g statue! Hang on, offside.
  22. Pint for Coady
  23. Come on lads, dig in, could be a pivotal result in our season, no switching off . Maybe play a bit down their end, good way to kill time!
