1 more and a sob story about a Sensi-esque “couldn’t get it over the line in time / it broke down / we were close but still some distance apart” waffle.
-
His belief that MacAteer and Mavididi were better wide options and would offer better service than Bilal in the last third of the game is something I’d confront him with along with the repeated mistake of starting Ayew and expecting him to affect a game from the start against opposition who aren’t knackered yet. As for Ward vs Wolves, I can only think that was for a bet with money going to Comic Relief.

The club have added to having Hermansen on the books with Fatawu and Bilal, positive young signings, steps in the right direction. Unfortunately it’s not enough, we may never see their generational side blossom, their biggest future contribution may be too save our asses from more severe ffp in future and we’ll never know if they could have been the start of a brighter future. Sorry, you said positive and I’ve done a 360 degree turn with my offering, I’m more depressed now than I was!

LCFC 0-2 Fulham, post match thread
fazzyfox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
The thing I shouted most in the first half in particular was “Who wants it, who wants it”? After being arrested for soliciting I explained it’s a criticism of the team mates movement and desire to take responsibility for the ball. It was worse than ever but I do wonder if Ruud reviewed the Palace game and told them not to take so many risks by committing to runs forward and they took that too literally and hid, never offering themselves or helping out their team mate? It was that apparent, it must have come from somewhere not just the confidence vacuum. -
He keeps playing what I call blind balls, usually after a 180 degree turn and into central areas of the pitch - the kind of thoughtless sloppiness that would get called out if I did it in a works staff 5 a-side. Does he watch the performances back between games?

When Tannoy man announces “And replacing the last thin semblance of any flair or attacking threat is a journeyman, a has been, a local luke-warm try hard and a reject…....yay!”

Heard the tannoy man’s appeal “Please keep off the pitch, please keep off the pitch, Vestergaard, Justin, please keep off the pitch”

Up paddle creek without giving a s**t -
Ready for a peaceful nights sleep? Picture this - An attack breaks down with Kristiansen committed high up the pitch. One good though ball and it’s a foot race from the half way line between Traore and the covering Vestergaard. Sorry .

My other worry is that he tends to come back from injury particularly rusty, more so than other players and takes a while to get back into his stride. We’ve come to accept it as we can’t afford to buy a replacement as good as him who doesn’t have these problems. For interceptions and physicality he is still at a very good level, I just worry how few games we’ll get this season of the 100% version of him.

And he have some crisps too !

Pint for Amad! Well a half if he’s old enough .

The pitch invader has received a 3 year ban from watching City. Furious at the outcome he brought in solicitors, pleaded passionately and fought hard, successfully appealing to extend it to 5 years

They’re extending the amount of hospitality places by sourcing a facility elsewhere. Is it because they’re sorry to hear people have missed out or “Kaching kaching” some other reason? Sounds like an Only Fools And Horses sketch:- Rodney - “We’ve had a complaint. They want a refund for the deluxe executive match day package you sold them for the Leicester v Arsenal Football match” Del - “ Why, they had a slap up meal and a pitch side view” Rodney - “It was the Rugby pitch down the road!” Del - “We got em a seat to see Leicester City play too” Rodney - “That’s why they’re complaining”!

Somehow persuade a top drawer, strong, physical CB with some measurable degree of pace to come here, we are fielding liabilities and shipping avoidable goals, the leak has to be plugged (once the RB one is resolved). I don't know who but top clubs are likely to want to retain their squad depth and not let anyone go, Spurs have their injury crisis, lots would be off the pay scale, just need someone in the mould of Huth or Evans who has been there, seen it, done it, isn't phased. It's football not root canal dentistry, the state of our tunnel line up last night, I get being focused but it looked like some of them needed shoving out onto the pitch, clearly over anxious despite having a luxury training ground and every bit of support and preparation money can buy.
