  1. Looks like a good old fashioned RHC position - Roaming Headless Chicken.
  2. And now it’s hot potato time, no one wants the responsibility of being on the ball. I take it they still want paying though?
  3. The very very basics as a CB, there were 5 eventualities with that long shot, over, in, saved and held, saved and loose and hit the bar. 2/5 of those need defenders to help, they stood, watched and couldn’t give a ****.
  4. Those non chasers Coady, Faes, Thomas off now or we have reached a new low. 11 minutes of “effort” ? DISGRACE.
  5. Isak at one end Daka at the other. It’s Isak vs Isuck.
  6. 115 seconds folks, in the capitulation s**tshow sweepstakes, check your tickets
  7. I heard that for each half they turn off the goal line technology at the end we're attacking to save the batteries
  8. Yes, started going before it was popularised, still have the team sheets, some of it was dull but for a quid you might see some famous names with varying degrees of them giving 100% or not (how times have changed ). Earliest side I saw had future manager Rob Kelly scoring a few good long range goals, Robert Jones up front (a year or two after his 1st team “heroics” in a promotion race), then Jobling, Bunce, Wilkinson, Prindiville mixed in with Bobby Smith, Ian Banks and others from the first team squad, often the sub from the weekend game too. Later saw a bit of Laurie Cunningham, like a footballing version of a Harlem Globetrotter, he’d throw in extra tricks and entertain us, just loved watching him play. Then the likes of Kitson, Richard Smith, Baraclough, Scott Oakes, Linton, Lyttle and Jason Peake who looked a class act Had early glimpses of Giggs, MacManaman, Dwight Yorke for Villa was outstanding and even though he was struggling for fitness you’d see Gary Shaw (Villa) along with some random blends of trialists, veterans, sometimes the coaches (ex-players) making up the numbers and first team regulars coming back from injury. The two biggest “Couldn’t give a ****” performances were John Robertson in his 2nd spell at Forest and in the Family Night Football era Branco for Middlesbrough who just didn’t want to be playing, and left kids bemused as the magic thought of seeing a Brazilian player in the flesh went a bit pants. Also remember Ramsey needing a stretcher, don’t know if it was already in use or they wanted something firmer but after a long delay the medics came out of the tunnel with a table. They tried to put Rambo on it and lift it but he slid off and opted to limp off instead! Think it was a reserves game if not a tin pot cup game.
  9. No, no, I get it, we have new heroes coming, hopefully with fight, spirit and passion, it’s a bit of positivity, just reading the topic name brought me a glimmer of hope for the future.
  10. We need to do this. The players have humiliated us and taken the p***out of us so it’s time to humiliate them. I wouldn’t see it as being aimed at Vardy, it’s for the whole team reminding them of the point of the game, even if they have been set up and drilled to just keep the score down and “stay in the game” for as long as possible. If they don’t let you bring them in tear your clapper (oo-er matron) into arrow shape.
  11. I’ve looked into the odds for who could score for us on Monday:- DeCordova-Reid 10,000 / 1 Ayew 10,000/1 Daka - Ha ha ha ha El-Khannouss 8000/1 Vardy 7000/1 Lord Lucan, riding on Shergar, singing a previously unheard lost Beatles song 6500/1 Own Goal 100/1
  12. 0-4 with a missed penalty (who am I kidding, that would involve being in their box) and Harvey to score the 4th and look really sheepish / embarrassed and not wanting to celebrate it.
  13. Don’t mind where he gets his forty winks. Actually I do, particularly as he’s supposedly one of the leaders in the group. How can they have midnight feasts and play fart tennis without him? More concerned about faulty Winks - sloppy passes in dangerous areas and stopping running v West Ham when he’d only been on for 10 minutes.
  14. It was going a yard wide but Ward scooped it back before rolling over the line with it
  15. Defend the badge is one thing he doesn't do. Come matchday it's "You were s**t and stopped chasing last time, here's a shirt you’re starting, you were s**t and stopped chasing last time, here's a shirt you're starting......" over and over again.
  16. A medical warning from Dr Fazzyfox - I strongly recommend you pick a random game involving 2 other sides and support one of them, celebrating as if they were your own team. Otherwise, if and when we eventually score the increase in blood pressure and use of certain arm and shoulder muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints after so long without exercising them could result in thousands of “ Ouch….ooh ya bugger” moments as things ping, strain, snap, cramp and rupture. Stewards and St John’s Ambulance will be running around with slings, bandages and stretchers like the opening credits of Mash. Not to mention the feinting in dis-belief. It’ll be carnage.
  17. next time we hear “Number 3…Wout Faes!” - that’s the moment we’ll know.
  18. After 4 months or so there’s still no sign of a style, philosophy or of any part of the team working and improving. No new ideas other than finally switching to 3 CBs, something most of us would have looked at earlier. OK one of the three is Thomas but still hardly radical or forward thinking. it really has the feel of a side not being managed by a manager. Dean Smith managed more, yes he had Maddison, Barnes, KDH, Evans and an on the beach Tielemans but he had some identity. The biggest bugbear for me is handing a start to players who stopped trying in the previous game. Smith did this with Tielemans and Soumare, Ruud is doing this with several. Select Faes, you are guaranteed F***ups at CB, select Soumare guarantees the same in midfield. What level of post match analysis do they use? Show us you have something or fall on your sword.
  19. On the same day that they announced a 12 foot high gold-plated statue of Rudkin ??? The launch of a range of tasty and affordable concourse food???? The abandonment of digital ticketing? That Someone scored a goal in training? Dennis Wise to be next manager? All this in one morning???
  20. They put that contract in front of Ward to sign but thankfully he kept dropping the pen
  21. Forget Roy of The Rovers, him managing this mob would be Wellens of the Be**ends
  22. I predict they’ll blow it I predict they’ll blow it
  23. Vardy - “Right guys, it looks like Ruud’s dropped us right in it again, he’s selected Faes, Vestergaard, Justin, Soumare, Ayew, but if we can just stay in the game he might sub on some proper players 2nd half.”
  24. Yes I do, a Mr W.H.Smith started a successful nationwide chain of newsagents whilst Ade Smith just sits at home in Basingstoke writing to newspapers
  25. We'll put the left back in The right back out In out in out Then just run about We're just a bleedin' joke-y That fool around Cause that's what we're all about, HEY!
