  1. Usual uninspired stuff, just like watching Leicester last season.
  2. Well, I am for one am happier with Cooper than I was with Enzo. It could be better, it could be a lot worse. One thing's for certain, we need to try and back him from the off. It's going to be a tough old season.
  3. Just making my annual post on the thread as I kind of use it as a personal diary. This year hasn't been as bad as usual so far, which I'm putting down to the cooler weather maybe? It's still not great mind. Perhaps we're going to get a later peak of pollen this year. Benadryl (acrivastine) is still my saviour, it's just so bloody expensive nowadays.
  4. I'd also like to see a party with some of the economic policies of Labour (or even further left than that) with some of the social policies of the Conservatives (not the current mess though). I wonder how many voters are actually fully behind the vast majority of the ideology of the party they vote for. It's got to be low you'd think. It always seems to be voting for the best of a bad bunch of voting to keep the party you dislike more out, sadly.
  5. It's still early days, but so far the officiating has been very good. It really puts into context how shit referees and VAR are in the Premier League. From what I've seen, the referees are getting a lot of the initial decisions correct in the first instance, and I've also been very pleasantly surprised to see them letting the game flow and not blowing up for the slightest little things. When they have got it wrong, VAR has pretty much always led to the correct decision being made in the end. Perhaps the only controversial one was the handball in the Belgium game, which is a debatable one. The semi-automated offside system is head and shoulders above the system of manually drawing lines in terms of both speed and accuracy of decision. It gives me faith that VAR doesn't have to kill my enjoyment of English football, it CAN be done well.
  6. I mean, the hate is justified as he is a ****, like Ronaldo, but their longevity at the top level is remarkable.
  7. A bit Enzo ball this. Slow, ponderous, creating little. Make no subs when opponent has made 4. Just hope England are better at keeping cleaning sheets.
  8. Check out her twitter. What an absolute turnip.
  9. Haha I remember that thug from last season.
  10. I'm liking this weather.
  11. That Blondie isn't a woman, it's a band. I'm 31.
  12. Given our financial position, the £10 million isn't to be sniffed at. Wish him well at Chelsea. His playing style may well work with the players they have.
  13. The National Service thing can't be that crazy if countries like France, Sweden etc have it in some form or another. As much as I'd have not liked it, nor acknowledged it at the time, but volunteering in a hospital or something at 18 would have been good for me. Something to stop me gaming and watching porn for 12 hours a day. The name National Service is clearly a dog whistle for gammons but it's really nothing like what national service used to be.
  14. South Leicestershire. It's been a safe Tory seat since its inception in 2010, and before that in it's previous guise as 'Blaby' was Tory since it's inception in 1974, staying comfortably safe in 1997. It's hard to find out about before that with the constituency boundary changes, but I don't think it's been anything other than Conservative since WW2. I'll still go out and vote Labour but it'll be fruitless I'm sure.
  15. Imagine even considering Rooney 😂
  16. It's weird that I wouldn't be bothered at all if he goes. I've never warmed to him really.
  17. I can see a hung parliament. I'll either vote Labour or not bother, it depends on the manifestos. I live in a safe Tory seat so it seems pointless.
  18. I'd absolutely love this. Never, at any point this season, such as Daka's goal at Leeds being incorrectly ruled out, did I wish we had VAR. Doubt the vote will go the way I want it to though. Not looking forward to holding back on celebrating any goal next season in case somebody's toenail was offside in the build up.
  19. It's still possible to enjoy it but also have legitimate moans. I didn't particularly enjoy the lap of honour, not being able to see half the players because of a load of people who nobody knows, who have nothing to do with the club. Only Coady, Vards and Enzo actually got around properly. The amount of buses filled with social media bellends was just embarrassing too.
  20. 97 points this season. 102 in 2013/14.
  21. Well done Union FS today for the banner. And well done L/K for singing 'Rudkin is a ****' 😂
  22. He's been such a huge part of Leicester City for so long, including for all of our most decorated ever period, I can't really imagine the club without him. Truly, the greatest we'll ever have. I love the man.
  23. Shame to take Vardy off, but I suppose we need him fit and ready for the final day.
