It’s a shame Chelsea came in for Enzo and that he went. I truly think we could have stayed up with his system and the buy in from the senior players. It already seems we now lack both a system and the buy in.
-
At least our expectations won’t be too high for the season!

FFS! Who’s going to get sacked first? Enzo or Cooper?

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

I’ll be really annoyed if this signing means Alves goes out on loan. Hopefully they’ll be room for the two of them in the first team squad though. I know many think Alves would be better off going out on loan but I strongly believe he’ll be better off staying with. My gut is that the club agree. They seem to have made a real effort to make him feel included and have slowly started to shine a light on him in the media recently. -

Agree!

He did shore up our defence when he arrived to be fair, which was leaking goals from headers.
-
He looked so happy in the pre-season photos too. Ouch.
-
This is the one thing that worries me. In the Beckham documentary there’s a section on when he built extra muscle for aesthetic purposes and it messed with his biomechanics and performance. Let’s hope the bulking up that Alves has done is purely functional.
-
In terms of re-injury in games both Alves and Braybroooke will be far more protected by the refs in the Premier League too compared to lower leagues. Better pitches too.
-
Giggs was tearing seasoned defenders a new arsehole at 17 years old. Yamal in the Spanish national side at 16. Bellingham for England at a young age. Yet we can’t even take a risk on Alves or Braybrooke as rotation players in our first team? This view is SO negative it’s laughable. Hopefully Cooper has the nous to give them a chance.

We need to keep Mads this season. He makes everything tick at the back in a way that our other keepers don't. The latter scenario hits or final points total. Crucial he stays IMO.
-
This. There's nothing that Mavididi/Fatawu can do that Alves can't in terms of skill. The latter is probably more consistent with the final ball/shot than Fatawu too. I'll be so disappointed if he's sent out on loan. Same with Braybrooke. More chance of re-injury if sent out into the lower leagues too. They'll be better off and better looked after being integrated into the first team IMO. The financial case for bringing them through now is also compelling.

Gaining entry with a photo of the QR code makes a mockery of 'near field technology' and the club's stated reason of implementing NFT to stop tickets falling into the wrong hands/touts.
-
Another 'dumb question'. Last year when a family member who sit next to me and I couldn't attend a home game we passed on our physical cards to another relative and their son who was under 16. Can we forward nft tickets to under 16 year olds if they're not in the family stand?
-
Very happy about his. He’s very skilful and should grow into an asset for us. Now we just need to stop him cutting into the centre and blasting over 80% of the time.
-
I am using a card this year, but want to wrap my head around how you forward on your ticket electronically as it looks like it’s going to happen sooner than later. Do the people we forward tickets on to have to be members? Or just on registered with the club with a supporter number and also on our friends and family list? Or both? Thanks in advance.
-
A very good free transfer. If he went to any other team we’d be thinking the same of them signing him.
-
My partner’s dad has a season ticket at Arsenal. He travels an awful lot for business and nearly lost his season ticket this season. I hate the direction of travel.
-
If I didn’t support the club I would hope we get relegated to League One just to see them bend over backwards to bring the cards back and try and fill the stadium. Tossers.
-
Just got mine. That really irritated me. Tone deaf.

Lamine Yamal backed and playing for Spain at 16. Meanwhile Leicester fans reckon Alves needs to go out on loan to develop. Lazy thinking. -

The syllables in his name must lend themselves to a great chant. I’m not good at this so best first song that came to mind was ‘Daddy Cool’. Doesn’t even fit! 😂 -
