Like a waste of money. Listen, I can’t give anyone advice about betting. I had a stupid idea at the beginning of the 2015/16 season. I thought, ‘What if we carry on winning like we did at the end of the Great Escape Season - we might win the league!’. I opened an account with an online bookies, saw Leicester at 5000:1. Put £5 in the box and hovered my finger over the mouse about to press click to lay the bet - and then a terrible thing happened. Rational thinking. ‘This would just be a waste of a fiver’ I thought - so I closed the browser. True story.

It’s unbelievable that people think winning leagues is just a nothing event. Madness.

It’s not about next season. It’s about this season. First is better than second. Full stop. It’s the difference between silverware in the 23/24 season and no silverware. How can you say that is irrelevant? That position makes zero sense.

The importance of promotion is obvious - in that respect there is no difference between 1st and 2nd. But you’re also wrong if you think there’s zero difference between 1st and 2nd. The former is club honours and silverware. That matters in the historical record of our club. For me anyway.

Errrr. Struggling to comprehend this. Would you prefer to go up second? Or first? The importance of going up is a given. There is a difference though between Champions and Runners Up.

I also think teams are getting more physical with him and leaving stuff on him. Wingers are all about confidence. That can affect a player’s mind. Or maybe he’s just tired. Perfectly possible.

I like Mavididi and think he’s done a great job for us this season. What I don’t understand is why both he and Fatawu are not taking people on and cutting the ball back anymore. It seems to have been replaced by deft crosses or passing back. I loved the fact Enzo asked his wingers to beat their man early on. Are we seeing less of it? Or am I imagining it?
