  1. I know I've not read the room here but I can't be the only one who thought that was a good performance we absolutely battered them. Would have been a robbery of they got a point never mind all 3.
  2. What magical stats are these? Ruud points per game 0.57 Cooper points per game 0.83
  3. Did you read my post mate? I wasn't questioning you I was just saying that something seems to has clicked in the last 2 and half years of his career. Where his record is 39 goals in 86 games or 1 goal every 2.2 games (I wasn't far of when I guessed a goal ever 2 games)
  4. Something seems to have clicked not mathematical but looked at the last 2 and half seasons and his scoring rate is more like 1 in 2
  5. Bit of a simplistic way of looking at it. Football is a team game and plenty of good footballers play for bad sides. For instance we are in the bottom 5 for goals scored but that doesn't mean a bigger club will be put off from signing Bilal.
  6. I never expected to type this about bouba as he has been disappointing for years but I love watching him play, he is so composed on the ball even with 3 men snapping round him. Can be very direct and athletic in possession too Still only 25. Wouldn't be surprised to see a bigger club in for him next season especially one that plays out from the back trying to beat the press.
  7. We will never know but I wouldn't be so sure Cooper pushed to sign him. He only started 6 out 11 games for cooper. If he was a signing cooper pushed for you would expect him to have more opportunities to show his value to the club in the starting 11. But who knows we are both assuming and guessing without a source.
  8. This will very quickly turn into another rudkin bashing thread.
  9. Well done kasper!
  10. If Cooper had played Coady over Okoli, Macateer over Buno and ward over Stolarczyk. And got this results and performance the mood in foxestalk would be absolutely murderous.
  11. Yes especially at shitty venues like the O2 in Leicester where a thousand and half people have to exit through 1 tiny fire escape so your stood around for 30 mins and by the time you get out all the Ubers into town are gone. A better example would have been the cinema you don't see people leaving before the last couple of scenes.
  12. Don't want it but Very generous of you to come on here and offer it up.top man.
  13. This is slightly off topic and I know this kind of information is not the most reliable but I was amazed to hear in the summer that Adam Peaty was worth only 2 million quid. He is (or was) the absolute best in the world in a prestigious and historic Olympic event and has kept himself at the top of his sport for nearly a decade. Meanwhile someone like Rachid Ghezzal who was by most accounts shite and would have barely been in the top 20,000 footballers in the world when he played is according to Google worth 16 million quid. That should tell you everything you need to know about entitled players.
  14. Missing Leicesters own Steve guppy
  15. Ruud Gullit?
  16. Was Smith much better than cooper? Br interesting to see the points per game. Especially when in my opinion Smith had a far superior squad with Madison, Barnes, Tilemans etc
  17. Funny that forest fans see themselves as some sort of great protector of Cooper's feelings because I thought their away were quite disrespectful to him last month they were singing "Going down, going down Leicester city, playing football the Cooper way" And "Stevie cooperrrrrrr he hates the derby, he hates the Leicester, forest are massive" I know the he hates Leicester one is what they used to sing when he was there but surely if they wanted to thank him they could have sung a song that didn't mention his current club then he could of acknowledged them.
  18. People are letting their personal feelings cloud their judgement here. Is this list about the best managers who achieved the most or people's favourites? For instance. - Pearson's first and very successful spell was prior to the kp era. In the kp era he missed out on promotion with the most expensively assembled squad in championship history, then won the championship then narrowly avoided relegation with a side with Mahrez, Vardy, drinkwater etc. that's it. Seems very difficult to rate him higher than managers who won the biggest prizes in domestic football for the first time in our history. - if your giving Pearson credit for him and walsh building the side that won the league then you have to give puel and Marcia credit for building the side that won the fa cup. So lists where Pearson is top and puel near the bottom seem a bit lacking in logic. - As much as you may hate Rogers he had two 5th place finishes and an 8th place finish and won an fa cup this gives him 3 of the clubs top 10 finishes of all time and our 2 biggest trophy that is hard to ignore if your going to argue that he had a very good squad and team well yes he did but rate Claude higher in that case because he built it with Marcia.
  19. Disagree with this I would say the fans in the stadium are more invested than the ones on foxestalk spending their matchday moaning in the live game thread. The fans in the ground have literally invested their money into tickets, travel, pre match refreshment etc etc and have done so for many years. so i think it's difficult to try and say they care less. I would say it boils down to attitude and conformation bias rather than investment if you are at the game then you desperately want the team to succeed and are surrounded by people who want the team to succeed where's people in the match day thread on foxestalk (not everyone by the way) would seem to want to be proven right about a certain manager above wanting to see them win and are surrounded by like minded people. I logged onto foxestalk in the car on the way home after the recent Southampton and was genuinely surprised to see the "Cooper out" thread hot anyone that goes away regularly knows how rare a 97th minute winner is and would have been totally caught up in the outpouring of primal emotion that followed it. It was utterly incredible and one of the reasons we go for the 1 in 100 chance you might see something like that. No one leaving the stadium singing the Jordan ayew ole ole song at the top of their lungs was thinking about sacking anyone yet on foxestalk people had their knives out straight away pursuing their personal agendas.
