Don’t agree with that at all, he’s looked stand out this season and is doing well internationally as well. However, he is still young and for us to make a decent profit we’d need £35m + to make the original fee worthwhile. He isn’t there yet and someone would have to take a huge risk on what he could be in the next couple of years. I’m optimistic that he’ll be here next season.

What worries most about them not having a conversation with him by this stage is they don’t have any plan at all. Most likely Rudkin doing everything to save his own are but not having the authority any longer to let Ruud go.

I’d be happy with him as number 1 next season, gets better when playing regularly. Be a shame to see Mads go but he’s to good for the champ and im sure we’ll make a tidy profit from him.
