That's how my office works. I am based in the office of a 24 hour production factory and as long as I am in work for 42.5 hours a week they aren't fussed when that is. Perfect in the summer when I want to be on the golf course for 3!

Seats are never locked down. They can go up and down like normal seats, they are only ever locked up

You can see over them fine when seated. Although, I doubt anyone who has bought tickets in a rail seated area will sit.

People who think safe standing being brought in means they will be forced to stand are a whole new level of stupid.

The fact we will have a designated area to stand without the worry of having a finger jabbed in our backs asking us to sit down. also, the safe standing area will naturally become the atmosphere section so fans down Filbert Way will know where to go for a sing song. plus my shins have taken so much of a battering over the years they wouldn’t mind a break.
