I mostly just find them amusing. The Don't Care shtick is one of the most accidentally funny things in football fandom bless them. The amount of effort it takes to pretend to not care and remind everyone they don't care is full on Streisand Effect in action.

Liverpool fans are like the MAGA of football though aren't they. All they consume is media that tells them they're special but the world is against them and everything has some sinister narrative. The most narcissistic fanbase in English football.

Our fans aren't particularly hateful and they're no more anti poverty than they are homophobic or hate Welsh people. They're mostly just completely unoriginal and copy whatever chant is associated with any club. They only sing the feed the scousers song because everyone else sings it. That said, being offended by the feed the scousers song and taking it seriously enough to claim that it's hateful anti poverty is ****ing weird and pathetic in the extreme. It's typical LFC looking to be offended nonsense. Especially moronic when you consider the city of Leicester has some significantly poor areas and large swathes of Liverpool are probably significantly more gentrified than here.
