  1. Let's be honest, only way this happens is if we sell KDH and spend the money on the women's team.
  2. It's created probably the most annoying fan base in sport as well. They're ****ing insufferable.
  3. Does it count if it was an hour ago
  4. First half was excellent tbf. Just a bit nervy in the second.
  5. This is the kind of punditry and analysis I want on the telly.
  6. You'd have to have not seen Real Madrid play for like five years to think it was going to be one sided tbf. They're a terrifying counter attacking team with an industrious midfield and some lightning attackers. But they rarely dominate teams their own level. They're really happy to surrender possession and break.
  7. What a terrible take that is
  8. More action in the first twenty minutes of this game than there probably would have been in 120 if Man City were in this
  9. You just know real are going to shithouse a goal out of nowhere in a minute
  10. Good god if Dortmund lose by a goal Adeyemi won't sleep tonight. That's honking.
  11. How is that not a yellow card Any other occasion he's in the book.
  12. Pretty confident it's corporate FIFA guests, sponsors, etc. It's not fans you can tell by looking at the section running through the Dortmund end. It was half empty a minute ago and there's no yellow in there.
  13. The corporate middle tier in Wembley is such a ****ing disgrace.
  14. Christ, this is even worse. Can we stop pretending to be Americans please. It's minutes before kick off, you've got a stadium full of Dortmund fans, the atmosphere would be nuts if you let them crack on.
  15. I don't know if you're drunk, in the middle of a stroke or being cryptic.
  16. If we sell KDH we will buy or loan a replacement with some of the money and for probably <7-8m you can find someone better than Praet.
  17. I dont know who that's still in denial needs to hear this but Ben Chilwell is a better player than Kristiansen. He's also English, a full international and was wanted by a Big Six club. Even then we absolutely had their pants down and it shouldn't be considered much of a yard stick. Especially given the world has shifted a little bit and transfer fees are starting to drop a tad for mid range footballers. VK just very obviously isn't worth twenty and unless some surprising team with a lot of cash take a shining to him, he isn't going to go for that. If he doesn't want to stay I'd be surprised if we wouldn't just get him gone for his book value to be quite honest.
  18. A team can be better than the sum of its parts. Just because a team has done well collectively it doesn't mean an individual is worth a lot of money. Plenty of examples just at our own club when you look at the league and cup wins. Kristiansen is alright, decent prospect, but he's not a guaranteed thing. I'd personally be pretty uncomfortable if any club I supported was paying twenty million for him, let alone one in Italy where there isn't a lot of cash in the game.
  19. I don't know about perfect tbf. We still don't fully know the extent of the financial mess. There's probably more straightforward Prem jobs towards the mid/bottom of the table that he could walk in to.
  20. Never on the scrap heap because there'll always be a club in the Championship who will give him a go and if he does well there, there's a road back. To be fair, this is a guy that got to the top already by taking an unorthodox route. But it does feel like after having managed Chelsea, he's hanging on feeling like he should get similar jobs and he's waiting for another opening at the top of the table where as he probably just needs to jump back in now with any Prem club and accept that recruiting clubs don't feel he's quite ready for the heights he seems to want to be at.
  21. Depends how you look at it. He could be an absolute disaster for the wrong manager, I agree. But we're absolutely crying out for a Director of Football to build a team with a clear vision with tactical consistency and a long term plan that can survive managerial changes. Maybe the reason we're not in a rush is we're genuinely taking our time to find the right guy who will follow up on the work done by Enzo, play the same way, utilise the same system and will thrive with the same players. We've never done that before so I can totally understand the cynicism and doubt of anyone laughing at that. But we brought Enzo in saying we'd learn, maybe we have a bit.
  22. Given the main offer for him at the moment is Panathinaikos he probably shouldn't be feeling too lofty. Could very just be agent rubbish though tbf.
  23. Too early in this window to say for sure. They 100% definitely gave Brendan Rodgers far too much influence to change some of the club's key footballing philosophies, in particular we let his influence really damage our squad building. But Enzo was a smart piece of recruitment as was almost every player we signed last summer. If we replace Enzo with another good appointment and make the best out of a bad financial situation to salvage a decent window this year then I don't know that there's too much to complain about. If we start the season with an extremely underwhelming squad managed by Steve Cooper then it's time for heads to roll. And if we're seriously even entertaining Oscar Garcia then frankly I've lost hope.
