First time a team has lost by an innings after posting a 1st innings score of over 500. Superb start to the series, in one of the strangest test matches you’ll ever see. 1599 runs scored between both sides and only 3 innings played. -
And all that comes down to is their pride and passion of playing for their country.

It was terrible wasn’t it. No focal point. No one looked like they knew what they were doing. All looked a very bit desperate in the final third. Very fitting that Greece won for Baldock, I never want England to lose but in this instance, I’m happy that Greece have won and even though this sounds daft considering the occasion some things are bigger than football.

Hereford away is my all time favourite away day. I’d already been there before when we played them in the league cup 06/07 but the league one trip was so good. Bank holiday weekend, sun was shining and edging closer to promotion. Away weekends are what you make of them though i guess and who you go with. But it obviously depends what you’re looking for. Personally the two I’d least likely to be up for going are ironically the next two. Both long drives, one of them is exactly the same as our ground with very little around and the other is a tacky old stadium with a crappy view. Newcastle is a good one for the weekend, albeit a long journey. Always enjoyed Villa away too, partly because we used to have a good record there but it’s easy enough to get to and you can have a good session there as well.

More versatile? Are we talking about the same player that can play right back, left back, right wing back, left wing back, right wing, in the 6 and in the 8?

Looks like a lot of them are at the back of the stands in the shade to be fair. England win now looking likely! -

Wonder if they’re aiming for Brook to get the highest individual English test score then declare maybe. -

Yep, hopefully get Root to his highest test score and then Brook his double then start smashing. A lead of 150 minimum would be fantastic and give half a chance of a result. -

Was watching earlier and during commentary it was mentioned that Root had been off the field for all of 8 balls. -

Love the optimism, but two scores of 500+ with what would likely be only be a day to play on an absolute road, a win for any team is highly unlikely. -
The only reason that JJ is getting doubled up on is because we seem to be playing two left wingers. The opposition left back has acres to run into, teams are noticing this, switching play instantly going two on one.

It’s quite clearly a handball, but personally don’t think it’s deliberate/intentional. I’m sure there’d have been more of an uproar if we hadn’t have won. If the ref gives it, it probably doesn’t get over turned. But one of our players must’ve shagged the refs daughter yesterday which is why we got next to nothing.

I don’t think he did touch it but he was in an offside position and tried to flick it on. -

Take any win however it comes. Couldn’t have complained if we only got a point. Good first half performance. Solid defensively second. -

He was crap. But he always has been, always tries to make it about himself.

Great scenes at Villa Park.

The awareness from Duran there is absolutely ELITE.

He hits it so fast and powerful when it drops at his feet. Hopefully a good season starts for him now

They’re gonna have a new manager just when they play us aren’t they

Ref too quick to act there for me…. Book him then upgrade him to a red if need be.
