What’s more to find out though? He’s made the conscious choice to have a drink and then get behind the wheel, potentially putting himself and others at risk. Let’s also not forget he was arrested for “driving without due care and attention”. He then failed to provide a Road side sample, to then eventually being charged with drink driving. It’s pretty damning.

8 figures? Were you on the piss with Hamza?
-
Released quickly or not…. He’s still been charged.

Of course. Years ago one of my oldest friends got pulled and was over the limit roadside but not at the police, so got it away with. Another time, a friend had a pint and a half, got pulled over for something to do with his windscreen, got breathalysed and was over the limit. Turns out he was the dregs of his drink over and got done for 9 months. It’s just all too much of a risk for the sake of a taxi fare and having to pick up your car the next day, the implications it could potentially have not only yourself, but your family and other people’s family is just catastrophic.
-
Even any non driver with half a brain surely knows that over 1 drink and you’re pushing it. It’s really just not worth the risk. Failing to provide, for me normally makes me think they’re way over the limit.
-
Oh I know mate, don’t worry. Even more of an idiot if he didn’t say anything. You’ve f’ed up, hold your hands up and be the bigger man. I hope that was the case anyway.
-
But why take that risk at all? A multi millionaire (!) who could’ve quite easily got a taxi.
-
Surely they would have to have known about it. I’m pretty sure most employees are obliged to tell their employer if they’ve been arrested? Especially given that it’s gonna come out in the media anyway.
-
Half agree, it’s an absolutely ridiculous thing to do. Not that it’s ok but I’m sure plenty in here have done similar. Don’t think any club has sacked a player just for being charged through drink driving alone.
-
Probably be a fine, but I’m sure whatever it is will be kept internal.
-
What makes it worse is failing to provide. There’s no chance he gets community service for this, though. Fine and a driving ban.

Always loved a booze Hamza
-
Nugent header got us back to 2-1.
-
Let’s not forget with McAteer that was pretty much his first full game since a few weeks being injured.
-
Imagine it’s their game that should’ve been played Saturday?
-
Lost 2-1 to Stoke 3rd round
-
He was ok last night. Switched off a few times in the second half.
-
Well, we do else we wouldn’t be sat top of the league 7 points clear.
-
Just been watching some clips back from last night. Wilf said he’s going to be ready to play in “a couple of weeks”
-
Hermansen made a decent save early on in the second half as well. So 3.
-
What’s more frustrating is we looked so comfortable going forward cutting through them and finding space with ease.
-
After being a doubt you can’t blame them for bringing him off. Think that’s an exact copy of Boxing Day. We dominate. Take a lead. Concede a lucky late equaliser. But we only have ourselves to blame. Their keeper makes a couple of worldie saves to keep them in it. Haven’t been impressed by them either time we’ve played them. Can quite easily see them dropping into the playoffs. We’ve got to get better at closing at these kind of games instead of sitting on a 1-0 lead playing pretty football then inviting teams on. Reckon we’ve been screwed out of a penalty against these again as well. Why does KDH go down there? If it’s no penalty why’s he not booked for diving? Still in a very healthy position with plenty of winnable games coming up.

Mentioned it before in this thread, but wouldn’t be surprised to see Ricardo in the 8 and Choudhury in at inverted full back. Ricardo has played there this season, he’s got confidence in Choudhury.
-
No chance Choudhury plays in the 8
