Yep half agree. They’re both technically better than Wilf, especially in the final third. I think what we will miss most is Wilf’s effectiveness at winning the ball back high up the pitch.
That’s an easy get out isn’t it. Like you said it’s never been mentioned before and they don’t expect people to continue to push for it. So they roll another excuse out.
Embarassing really isn’t it.
Fair enough Newcastle, and fair enough Liverpool/Arsenal. But the rest are just an absolute joke. Think Chelsea are scheduled for terrestrial as well via the red button along with Man City.
It’s not about the money. It’s about the people that make the decisions that don’t want this. I’m sure a few more people on here that have had meetings about this will be more clued up on it but I believe there are people at the club that are reluctant to push ahead with this.
Let alone the £75m we gained in transfer fees. But let’s wipe out 40m-ish of that for what would’ve been spent on incomings.
Winks £10m
Coady £8m
Mavididi £7.5m
Hermansen £5m
Cannon £8m
The fees for the loan players.
I would also imagine that many of our players that have been here for a while will have taken a hit on wages due to relegation.
I wasn’t overly bothered who won. But I can see why people would’ve wanted littler to lose, and I imagine mainly because of the media frenzy that would’ve followed.
