The only thing that I dislike and it’s no prejudice is that the female comms seem to try that little bit harder and it just sounds that little bit more forced than it does with male commentators. Of course there are some bad male commentators and plenty of times they rightly get called out. Gabby Logan, Kate Abdo, Laura Woods as programme anchors are better than some male anchors, even Kelly Somers is really good. Maybe part of the problem is that we’ve been used to it be male fronted. On some parts, it’s largely ignorance from some.
