I’m pretty sure as already mentioned, anything that goes out on socials etc it all comes from him. -

Think I watched my first test match around 94/95. Loved it so much I was “ill” for school the next day. Just a shame that the day was washout because back then “if you’re not well enough to go to school, you’re not well enough to play out” -
Yep. That’s spot on for me.

It pays when the director of cricket is mates with your old man and said player represents the same county as said director. -
Green will be here next season if the reports are correct.

This is there or thereabouts I would say, hard to argue with. Would go Duckett over Rahul & Pant over Smith. -
They’ve already been suspended haven’t they. Hopefully it can turn around quick for them.

I actually think Muzzy was probably ahead of the times and would be a perfect 10. The late runs into the box, used to drift around the pitch picking up the little pockets of space. Muzzy always had that freedom when playing with Lennon and Savage to go and make things happen up the pitch. I remember a few players saying that in training Muzzy was absolutely phenomanl and I can’t remember what player it was, but he did something in training where everyone just stopped and applauded. In your 4231 with Tielemans and Kante - who is in the middle of the 3?

It’s a tough one between Muzzy and Tielemans. I think a lot of people are a bit blinded by Tielemans cup winner. Don’t get me wrong he was absolutely class for us, bar the relegation season. I think in today’s game Muzzy would be suited to the 10 whereas Tielemans is an 8. The better comparison of players for me, would be Muzzy and Maddison.

The difference between Lennon and Wilf is/was that Lennon could actually play football. Wilf has always been at his best when he was simply winning the ball and knocking it off to Tielemans or Maddison. Lennon could win the ball and make things happen himself, Lennon could dictate a game.

You’d have to say Jaiswal will have the better career due to his age and Duckett being quite a late starter. But at this moment in time, I’d be having Duckett. -
Don’t be so sure they were….

Especially at 301/4 with the best batsman in the world at the crease with 5 and a half wickets still in hand. -

It’ll be highly ironic that a man with one arm does the job for us
