  1. Interesting that the only club actually going for him is Galatasaray, you would think a lot of teams in the top leagues would be going for him rather than the best move he can get being the Turkish league
  2. We offered about £20m for Soulé so there is definitely some money to spend
  3. https://www.lcfc.com/news/4073404?lang=en It was with heavy hearts that Leicester City Football Club learned of the passing of a beloved member of our family, Craig Shakespeare, on Thursday 1 August, 2024, at the age of 60. A man of immense talent, unwavering dedication, and heartfelt passion for the beautiful game, Craig’s passing will be mourned heavily by all who knew him, as well as the football community at large. Born in Birmingham on 26 October, 1963, Craig’s journey in football is a story of ability, passion, and success. A capable midfielder in his playing days, he played for teams including Walsall, Sheffield Wednesday, and West Bromwich Albion – leaving an indelible mark wherever he went. Craig's relationship with Leicester City was deeply rooted and successful. He served as Assistant Manager under Nigel Pearson, contributing significantly as the Club not only won the League 1 title and went on to secure promotion to the Premier League, but also miraculously achieved survival in the 2014/15 season on their return to the top-flight. Craig’s influence and expertise put him at the forefront of all these pivotal moments in our Club's history. In the 2015/16 season, against all odds, Craig’s role was again instrumental as Leicester City clinched the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri. As much as it was his tactical knowledge that made a difference, it was also the personal connections and relationships he forged throughout the Club that made him so important. In particular, Craig played a significant role in the career of one of Leicester City's greatest-ever players, Jamie Vardy, whom he supported throughout his early years at the Club. As Manager in 2017, Craig again found himself at the forefront of a night that will be forever etched into Leicester City history. He led the team for a magical UEFA Champions League night where we triumphed over Sevilla at King Power Stadium to reach the quarter-finals. His reputation as a man forever committed to the Leicester City cause was further underlined when he answered the Club’s call to return for another spell as Assistant Manager under Dean Smith in the 2022/23 season. Outside of Leicester, West Bromwich Albion, Hull City, Everton, Watford, Aston Villa, Norwich City and England benefited from his wisdom, leadership, and commitment to football excellence. Every player and staff member who worked under him felt the impact of his presence, which was marked by wisdom, kind-heartedness, and an insatiable passion for the game. Craig was not merely a staff member but a cherished part of the Leicester City family. His warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in people endeared him to all. His loss will be felt deeply by the many friends he still has at Leicester City and beyond. Supporters, colleagues, and friends won’t ever forget the immeasurable impact Craig had on the Football Club and its staff. To Craig’s wife Karen and children Elle and Jed, everyone at Leicester City Football Club extends their deepest condolences at this difficult time. Their pain is shared by all who knew, respected and loved Craig. He leaves a legacy at Leicester City like few others and though we mourn his loss, we are grateful to have shared such a special connection with a man whose passion and spirit will long resonate with all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
  4. Maresca wanted to keep him but it was VK who wanted out, no reason to think Cooper doesn't fancy him so far
  5. A lot of other clubs and other people linked with the club seemingly didn't know about it earlier than when the LMA released it so really no reason to think the club did either
  6. Depends on whether they are doing something like a simple statement or a full thing about it. Changing the logos makes me expect the latter
  7. I mean he isn't entirely wrong, right now our whole sporting project is just going to be all based around survival - quite hard to plan anything beyond that Where as in comparison at Roma they are spending more money than they have in a few years, playing in Europe, and wanting to push on for Champions League I don't think it is really anything to beat the club / Rudkin about
  8. I agree and I think that is why we should go for Mandela Keita as I think he would be comfortable as competition for both Winks and Wilf (and would probably end up ahead of Wilf quickly in my opinion) Maybe pick up someone like Steven Alzate on a free as well (who I think you have mentioned before) Winks, Wilf, Keita, Alzate, Hamza
  9. Personally I would be willing to give Alves a go - but it doesn’t help when there hasn’t really been much of a pre-season to see him so I can see why a lot of people have a different view on it Might be one where we could look at the left wing competition also being someone who is very capable of playing at 10 as well if needed
  10. A lot of our fans would absolutely not be patient with the club if they said this
  11. Exactly around how much Percy said we were offering for Soulé as well, without even having to include bonuses!
  12. 5 in and 5 out - although probably be lucky to see 2 in and 2 out with how long it seemingly takes us - or we go on a mad one on deadline day after losing 3/3 games In: Alfie Doughty - competition for Kristiansen Mandela Keita - competition for both Winks and Wilf Left winger - depth / competition for Mav “Star” attacking / creative midfielder - Alves as back up, could also use BDCR Starting striker - we need someone who can start ahead of who we already have Out: Ward - in the bin Souttar - sell (probably be loaned though) Thomas - sell (probably be loaned though) Soumare - sell (probably be loaned though) Daka (sell - probably be loaned though) / Cannon (loan)
  13. Only need to look at Hamer still moving to Sheff Utd when they were also absolutely in shit at the time (no points deduction but still having to sell off all of their best players)
  14. Is that a shark on top of your graphics card?
  15. Wages is the issue

  19. Full engagement plan is on this link https://resources.lcfc.com/leicesterfc/document/2024/07/31/574485f1-3f33-49ad-9203-cb80c34388df/Fan-Engagement-Plan-24_25-v5-2-.pdf
  20. https://www.lcfc.com/news/4072221/lcfc-launches-202425-fan-engagement-plan?lang=en Leicester City Football Club today publishes its Fan Engagement Plan for the 2024/25 Premier League season, which includes the launch of a new framework that will increase the opportunities for a greater number of supporters to put their views to the Club. - Leicester City launches its 2024/25 Fan Engagement Plan - New framework of engagement gives more opportunities for fans to have their say - Season Ticket Holders and Members can apply to join the Fan Advisory Board A commitment under the Premier League’s Fan Engagement Standard, the Fan Engagement Plan (FEP), structures the way we consult with fans on Club matters that directly affect the fan experience. It highlights the ways we will seek to gauge fan opinion, gather ideas and seek strategic input from a diverse cross-section of the Club’s supporter base and demonstrates ways fans can get involved. The new framework has been developed by The FA in collaboration with the Foxes Trust - an affiliate member of the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) representing the interests of Leicester City fans. The Club has sought the views of the FSA and ensured a role for its established UK-based supporter groups in the framework (Foxes Pride, LCFC Disability Support Association, LCFC Official Supporters Club, Union FS and LCFC Women’s Official Supporters’ Club). An extended plan for international and newly established supporter groups is in development, and the Club would welcome applications from suitable experienced parties from the wider season ticket and membership bases. The framework includes the introduction of a Fan Advisory Board (FAB), which will include representation from both supporters and the Club’s senior management, meeting four times a season to discuss key strategic issues that affect the supporter experience. FAB members will also lead the process of gathering wider supporter insight from our FCC Working Groups (an evolution of the Club’s established Fans Consultative Committee) which will build on matters raised through open Your 90 Minute sessions and feedback gathered from an increased programme of supporter surveys and through LCFC Help. ABOUT THE FAB AND HOW YOU CAN APPLY In establishing the FAB, the Club will aim to apply a further layer of strategic consultation with supporters, meeting four times per season and taking a longer-term view of the Club’s supporter-orientated initiatives. Through its recruitment process, the Club will be looking to bring together a representative mix of supporters with diversity of experience, background and relevant expertise for the matters under discussion. The FAB will be made up of 11 members - five from the Club and six supporters who will be selected on the following basis: - All applicants must be 2024/25 Men’s or Women’s Season Ticket Holders or Fox Members - One supporter to represent and be nominated by The Foxes Trust. - Two supporters to be elected from the Club’s most recent Fans Consultative Committee (FCC). - Three supporters from an open application process, to be selected by an independent interview panel. Applications to join the FAB are now open to all 2024/25 Season Ticket Holders and Fox Members. Click HERE to apply. The open application process for the FAB will close at 5pm on Tuesday 20 August 2024. All applicants should ensure they have considered the Terms of Reference and Code of Conduct before they apply. Applications for the Club’s new FCC Working Groups will open w/c 26 August 2024, while the first Your 90 Minute session of the new season (on matchday experience) will take place on Wednesday 31 July. We thank all those who have confirmed their participation, and for those interested in attending a future Your 90 Minute session, the next date will be in September, with details on how to attend to be confirmed soon.
