Just thought of another positive: We've taken another step towards ensuring relegation before we have to play F*rest away, meaning they won't get the pleasure of officially sending us down.
-
Positives from today: Man City winning helps them close the gap on F*rest. We have 1 fewer game left to endure this season.
-
First time for about 9 years that I've chosen not to watch one of our games. Didn't even follow it closely and just looked at the final score after seeing we'd gone 2 down. Looks like we'll go through over half a season gaining 3 points. No goal in nearly half a day of PL football!!
-
Some of you are actually watching this?!
-
Good to see we are sticking with the same winning formula!
-
Anything but F*rest doing it.
-
And yet there are still 1500 lunatics who've bought tickets for this ritual slaughter!
-
This season has been unremittingly awful. Can't wait for it to end.

Worst Leicester team in the premier league era?
Sunbury Fox replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
As per the thread I started recently, this team is on track not only to be statistically our worst PL team ever, but to be our worst ever top flight team per se. We could break 5 of the 6 records below, given the way things are going: Fewest points per game (converted to 3 points) - 0.64 in 1977/78 (0.59 so far this season) Fewest wins - 5 in 77/78 and 01/02 (4 so far this season) Most defeats - 25 in 77/78 in a 42 game season (20 so far this season, which at the current rate would result in losing 29 games in a 42 game season) Fewest goals scored - 26 in 77/78 in a 42 game season (25 so far this season) Most goals conceded - 112 in 57/58 in a 42 game season (65 so far this season, projected to concede 85 over 38 games, which would equate to 94 over a 42 game season, the 4th worst goals conceded per game in our entire history) Worst goal difference: - 48 in 1908/09 (-40 this season) Edited 9 March by Sunbury Fox -
4-0 defeat. Next.

GET HIM GONE TONIGHT. -
Think they beat us 3-0 with an xG of something like 0.5. Efficient!
-
Now that any sliver of hope of staying up has disappeared, and the pressure is off, maybe we'll pick up some wins? Doubt it, though!

Man Utd (H) - Sun 16th march - 19.00

True. It's just because we're playing the ultimate glory hunter team, that I was a bit surprised. -

Put my tickets on resale last weekend and they've still not shifted. For a game v Man U, that is very surprising. -
Best Leicester Player From Almost Every Country

You're forgetting our legendary Welsh goalkeeper! -
The sea of empty blue seats at Cardiff is perhaps a harbinger for what the KP will look like after we've been stuck going nowhere in the Championship for a season or 2.
-
Man U are basically a bigger, more expensive version of us; a truly terrible team. The fact we've lost 3 times to them this season says everything about just how bad we are.

Chelsea 1-0 LCFC, post match thread
Sunbury Fox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
The decision making and creativity in the final 3rd is off the scale bad. Got into loads of good positions today but then failed every single time to pick out the right pass. But you can't say you were unlucky to lose when you've had 3 shots all game and an xG of 0.1. -
Agree, though standards are currently so low, what constitutes a good game isn't anything special.
-
Can't even shift mine on resale - for a match v Man U. Crowds will be down to 25k in the Champo next season, I reckon.
-
The key stats are set out below. Warning - it is very grim reading: Fewest points per game (converted to 3 points) - 0.64 in 1977/78 (0.63 so far this season) Fewest wins - 5 in 77/78 and 01/02 (4 so far this season) Most defeats - 25 in 77/78 in a 42 game season (18 so far this season, which at the current rate would result in losing 28 games in a 42 game season) Fewest goals scored - 26 in 77/78 in a 42 game season (25 so far this season) Most goals conceded - 112 in 57/58 in a 42 game season (61 so far this season, projected to concede 85 over 38 games, which would equate to 95 over a 42 game season, the 4th worst goals conceded per game in our entire history)

True but as a big a mess as we are currently, and with the future looking very bleak, too, I still wouldn't swap places with them. Our highs are higher than anything they and other clubs outside the big 6 can dream of, even if they've come at the likely cost of a long spell in the abyss coming up.
-
Personally, I have no issue with Brighton, but well run or not, what have they actually achieved so far? Not won anything and never been higher than 6th in any PL season. Maybe that will change this season, but hard to see them getting anywhere near what we have achieved over the last decade.
