  1. He might benefit from a full season tearing it up in the Championship. He’s a raw diamond, but we rely on him too much and he’s by no means a finished article yet.
  2. Rudkin is basically Thicko from the Harry Enfield ‘saw you coming’ sketch
  3. Splinter clubs have tended to be set up based on more than footballing operations being poor for a period of time (such as the examples given), so I would see this as an overreaction personally.
  4. It is totally ridiculous how we’ve regressed to this squad. Even more ridiculous that the person overseeing it is carrying on as usual.
  5. I’m going to quote you on that when we sign Craig Dawson.
  6. I hope we do in some ways because it will pile pressure onto those at the club and it’s almost like it will protect us from signing more shite on big contracts.
  7. No I don’t think a piece of cardboard is embarrassing. It certainly wasn’t embarrassing when it helped keep us in the league back end of 14-15. However, I can see why people don’t like them.
  8. Big difference between home and away crowds, but that’s to be expected. But I don’t think it’s bad as anyone else. Modern football and especially your average home going fan is relatively ‘soft’ and passive. My personal view is that modern pricing means it’s mostly only accessible to a certain type of person, and many rowdy types are priced out. I also think some of these points are a bit crass - like all those who get a clapper is a soft passive fan. I usually take a clapper and I’m not certainly not passive! Clappere are also not universally accepted - in fact I’d say most don’t take them now.
  9. Thing is he’s been rubbish whenever I’ve seen him play for them as well. I’ve seen more promise in a compulsive liar
  10. Easy to say when he’s gone. When he was actually here he had less positive things to say.
  11. Less Vichai, but Top is concerned with looking after players by paying them too much. This has created a culture of not having to excel to get a big pay day. It’s why we signed all these chumps on big wages. It works to a point, but to stop the coziness setting in you need the right characters to go with it. The people that get a good contract but still want to improve and progress, and not just basically laugh at us all when they sign a ridiculously generous contract. We haven’t signed the right characters (apart from the odd exception like Hermansen) for a long time. And even some of the ones we do sign that have decent character are poor footballers - like Kristiansen. All over the pitch the regression in quality, standards and character is there for all to see.
  12. Our mediocrity costs us even in moments where it shouldn’t. Take today, Kristiansen with one of his Alan Rogers style aimless punts to no one - the ball is turned up and 15 seconds later or so it’s 1-0.
  13. If he leaves I will miss his aimless punts up the touchline likes he been given a DVD of Alan Rogers to study. He runs around a lot, but my god how has he made it as a footballer.
  14. Thanks Victor for getting yourself into a pickle and another aimless punt forward where we lose the ball, and then Chelsea spread the play and score. Useless, and there’s people on here who defend him.
  15. Yea looks like it. Well he needed to change something
  16. By how many we getting slapped by today then?
  17. Why did we even sign him in the first place? It seemed really strange and out of the blue, and he barely played. A waste of money and everyone’s time.
  18. Just get him in the side anywhere
  19. When are they sending these e-tickets? Doesn’t anyone know? I’m not asking for this game, but curious how it might impact on my pursuit of tickets in the future if they don’t go to all STH.
  20. All these stories affirm what I was told by an ex player at the cup game a few weeks ago. He’s as good as gone. We have a so called talent pipeline coming through at Seagrave. We have a crap first team. We need to use them or we will loose them.
  21. I said the same about avoiding a PSR charge before the Wolves home game. And look how that panned out…
  22. Not strange at all. I think most of us are there. If the players so evidently don’t care and lack of effort, why should we care? Why should we care when long term decision making at any strategic level doesn’t exist. We should care about getting this regime out. That’s the only thing we should care about now.
  23. All Vesty was doing was trying to get some dog muck to smear on Rudkin’s car windscreen
