  1. 100% agree with this. I can’t attend the Arsenal game, but there in spirit and will attend protests whenever I can. Heartening today that there were widespread chants of “Rudkin out” and “sack the board”. I also witnessed a very heated arguments today in the crowd. When you get to this point it’s impossible to come back imo. And yet national media reports (Chris Sutton on 5 live) chants against the manager, which there were briefly. But far more against Rudkin and the board.
  2. We’re moving in the direction of needing more than one win to get out of the relegation zone. We cannot let that happen. The way we bottled Palace, this is absolutely must win. Will we? Will we bollocks.
  3. I’ve been a total tosser and this has completely slipped my mind despite it being in my calendar and everything. If anyone wants to shift 1 or 2 - I’m your man. I’ve done this a few times now with people on here and I’m uber reliable 😃
  4. T shirts made that say in large text: Rudkin out KP sort it out Or time to say goodbye Thoughts? I’d be open to raising funds, getting some made and handing them out.
  5. I cannot believe we did not bring in another striker in the summer. We lost Iheanacho who can be decent at this level in the summer. To leave Daka as the only back up to Vardy is beyond negligence. I thought Daka actually did ok last night, but he’s not a PL footballer - simple. Vardy still can offer something, but he’s nearly for 40 for crying out loud.
  6. Surprised it hasn’t got 3 legs
  7. I think it’s a Derby style collapse and possibly a few years in League One.
  8. It was so obvious to most fans. Really concerning it was sanctioned within the club
  9. Boycotts, banners, chants, protests - need it all.
  10. At least there’s no VAR
  11. Caretakers don’t count if that’s where you’re going
  12. Teams who have 3 managers in a season do not survive
  13. I don’t really think the manager is the problem. We all know it runs much deeper than that. He should have been brought in during the summer. We may well have recruited better as well. Who would you sign for - Cooper or RvN?
  14. I have no pleasure in saying this was entirely predictable. Ever since I’ve been going to games we’ve been historically poor as a club of winning what get billed as “must win” games. We must have the smallest testicles in football.
  15. We've been the better side, but it’s 0-0 against a team we need to beat to have realistic hope of staying up and having a rosier future. You know what happens next…
  16. Imagine playing a drinking game where you have to drink every time we make a defensive mistake
  17. If we had Ruud from the pre season there’s no way we’d be bottom 3
  18. My god punditry really is at rock bottom. Such insightful drivel from Martin Keown. Something like: “They need the win and that will pull them out of the bottom 3. If they don’t it’s over for them” Really Martin? Really? Are they told to make simple bordering on pointless remarks?
  19. He has probably struggled without the guidance and steer from Vichai, but all the more reason for the structures to be put in place that a lot of us are calling for. I don’t want to appear to be heartless, but Rudkin’s role in this is probably why he’s bulletproof. He’ll be seen as a KP loyalist and Top probably sees him as a link to his father. Tough reading all these years on. Who knows how different things would be now if Vichai hadn’t died.
  20. He’s done well to avoid a charge, but let’s not forget his role in crippling us and bringing us to the brink of one and needing to dance around the rules to avoid one last time. The fruits of his work may well mean we’re snookered enough to note spend what we need in this window to give us a whiff of getting out of trouble.
  21. Presumably we can now spend willy nilly in this window and take the Forest approach? A huge boost to everyone concerned, and I hope it helps performances on the pitch.
  22. Sometimes you get a generational talent who needs to be in the first team squad at 15-17. There are examples now from other teams, and also famous ones from the past. I’d prefer to have him on the bench, with his raw ability which opposition will know nothing about, than say someone like Daka. If all the hype is warranted let’s see him, and then maybe his value will increase and we might actually keep him for a bit.
  23. He’s so David Luiz - the hair, the propensity for the odd worldy and gaff laden. If he thinks he’s too good for us then he’s having a laugh and should go.
  24. So better than VK then
  25. I bet most like a tipple
