Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Ric Flair's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hijacking this to ask if anyone can post a link to The Overlap where Jordan talked about us a few weeks ago? Also great pod as usual gents! I honestly think I would have gone mad 2 years ago and this season had you guys not existed 🙏 -
Says it really about the drop off in decision making, quality and ability to move players on at the right time to support squad building
-
I want to bump this thread, because finally national press has cottoned on. Though for Tanner and his connections and brief to report on the club I’m amazed it’s taken him this long to call it all out…
-
You could have been talking about us not so long ago
-
Villa need to be careful because I can’t see how they can sustain their current squad outgoings if they don’t have income from European football. They’re currently 10th. An all to well familiar gamble of a mid table side. They’re on a slippery slope - and we know how hard it is to sustain. You cannot afford for recruitment to not pay dividends on the pitch.

Ayew, Cordova-Reid, Buonanotte, Mavididi, McAteer ?

To be fair to RvN he’s inherited poor players in these areas. -
He always used to talk about doing due diligence on the character of signings. I can’t help but feel that we’ve not done that for a while as we’ve got a squad full of spineless arse faced weasel’s (with the exception of one or two). Would love it if he came back in any capacity.

I agree. I imagine there might be pressure to play him to protect his value. He’s a disgrace to the shirt and a twat to boot.

“defending” 🤣 more like surrendering. Blokes a total fraud

Not impressed with either especially Dawson after the shambles at Brentford. Wasn’t having Alcock (no balls) either.

Ohhh like it. More time to get a few pints of the piss they serve up down our necks to oil up the throat for constant chants
-
I would genuinely be up for this. The problem is that if we’re winning or playing well I think not many would. It’s one thing when you’re not trying and a goal or 2 down, but another if you’re doing ok. But it could also work well because at the moment around 14 mins has been when the games turns toward the opposition because we often start ok.

The first goal v Everton was embarrassing as well. It came after a win in the previous game so you think we may have turned a corner, and then no one challenges for the ball or even mores towards the ball in the first 10 seconds including on the edge of our own box. And any hope vanishes. It truly has been laughably bad at times, and that’s why our own fans were laughing last night. Shambles.

Putting Your £ Where Your Mouth Is
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was shocked last night at how many are like this. I mean it’s been obvious forever, but in moments like this it becomes more clear and it’s so alarming. I suggested to folk behind me last night that we need a change of ownership and a total refresh, and the response was something like “I’ve seen worse than this down here, and be careful what you wish for - look at Cardiff when that owner changed the colour of the kit…” With people like this, as a fan base, I’m tempted to say what we’re seeing is what we deserve! -
Is there a bonus clause in their contract that they get London Pride if they win?

Ex Players - They used to play for us

Marshy saying it how it is… -

It probably is worth rolling the dice. He was probably the wrong appointment for a relegation scrap, but I don’t really blame him. There has been some odd selections of late, but he’s working with extremely limited resources and an awful squad.

More honesty flags and mandatory clappers hopefully

Fair play to those of you can stomach watching or following football after that debacle last night.

I woke up this morning feeling dog rough, and just remembered I was in a pub drowning my sorrows with many other fans. Quite a few people were unpicking various things as you can imagine and gobbing off about what’s going on. Anyway, I’m sat by the door and not long before closing three guys get up from a table to leave. No one had paid any attention to them or noticed them really. They had their backs to everyone I think, but when they got close I recognised at least two of them. Lets just say they work at the club in roles with the first team. I wonder if they will feedback anything they heard - as you can imagine people were leaving no stone unturned in offering their views.
-
Worst thing about tonight for me was that 1) at half time fans were literally laughing and I was taking the piss with people I’ve never spoken with before, 2) at half time someone behind me said he’d seen far worse so it was ok, 3) I tried an anti regime Rudkin/board chant in the last 5 mins and people looked up like I was out of order. WE ARE COMPLICIT. THIS IS ROTTEN.

Absolutely disgusting. Fans need looking after in situations like this. People like this guy are the football club. That’s what the people running things don’t realise. We’ve been around for a long time before and we’ll be around after these decision-makers have gone. Hang your head in shame whoever has made this decision.
