Chelsea Away - Sun 9th March, 14:00
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Permafrost's topic in Ticket News and Travel
It comes on sale for me on the 7th, but I’m after 4 for this preferably together. Optimistic I know, but if anyone can help please let me know. -
Exactly. These clowns need hounding out don’t they. I’ve been thinking about when RvN mentioned the structures at the club in a positive light when he was first appointed. I’m not sure if RvN was directly questioned about it (possibly not), but it is a strange thing for a new manager to mention without being asked about it. I think he’s done it as a way of ensuring the topic gets air time and therefore scrutiny. This is a common thing in PR. From recollection he said he spoke to Enzo, who was glowing about the structures - despite everyone knowing and it being in print that Enzo was critical about it.

Not sure how credible Rudkin would be as CEO as someone who has overall oversight when he’s managed to botch the oversight he’s had of football operations. Potentially hiring someone so inexperienced smacks to me of KP paying lip service to our concerns. Unless he has some sort of mega up and coming reputation we are not aware of, getting someone from League One who is new in their role strikes you as odd and underwhelming. I’ll always say how we should have moved for Emery when he went to Villa. Look at where they are and who they now have in the DoF role - one of the best operators in the game. Now we’re talking about George Friend, someone most of us thought might still be playing 🤣

Season Ticket / Membership renewals for 25/26
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to skinnydipper's topic in Leicester City Forum
It’s my club, not theirs. I’ll renew, but do I want change - absobloodylutely -
Tbf to Jonny, when he could be arsed at least he could play at a good level. Not sure we can say that for this gobshite

The Mirror are reporting that Coady was pushing for the move to Wolves. That’s his reputation here shot to pieces then. A supposed leader trying to cut and run when the tough gets going. But it’s ok because he goes on podcasts and says the right thing.

Would you be bothered..
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Lineker's Left Foot's topic in Leicester City Forum
I have a sense of apathy and often feel little when we concede (more gobsmacked after 10 seconds at Everton), and sometimes when we score. It comes from seeing such poor levels of commitment on the field from highly paid players and incompetence behind the scenes, so why get too invested? I wouldn’t be too bothered if we continued to slide down the leagues, and I’d still go. It’s in my DNA. I’m the 4th generation from my family to go, and I’m hoping that my daughter will be the 5th. The important thing to remember in all of this is that we’ll still be around when Top, Rudkin and the rest of the circus have gone. It’s our club, not theirs. -
If only because he is actually an asset who needs his value protecting, unlike the other muppets
-
The more you reflect and realise this the more remarkable it is that no one behind the scenes has been sacked. Or that they’ve not even tried to arrest the decline by doing something differently. It’s baffling. As I said in another thread Top and Rudkin make Peter Taylor look like a golden boy.
-
So maybe not the thread for this, but Middlesbrough have signed Iheanacho on loan. Would you not take him back here? Given the only option behind Vardy is Daka, surely he’s worth a loan… no?
-
I think we have to accept we’ve seen the greatest period in our history, and now dark days are coming. But it’s been so comically bad that I’m beyond the point of caring really, which is probably the worst thing about all this.

Do they have a plan we don’t know about?
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to WarehamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
This really is a joke of a football club. Not so long ago we were the example of a model club. We’ve fallen so far and so quickly, and yet Top and Rudkin just seem to be going through the motions. -
Lots of reasons to be negative, but I’m not quite sure this is one of them. Assuming we didn’t initiate the discussion?
-
So we could have made £15m pure profit on Thomas and McAteer and we’ve said no. I am truly struggling to believe that? We’re not that stupid are we?
-
Exactly, if we let him leave today what is the point? We have half a chance with in in the side, but pretty much no chance without him.
-
Not enough attention is given to how they have rebuilt to a far inferior squad. I think they’ll be competing for 4th place for a few years at least.
-
For me if I had to pick one single failing it has been all these assets that left for nothing. This has seriously hampered our ability to reinvest and meant there has been almost no room for error with the signings we have been able to make. I imagine it is also a driver in giving stupid contracts to players because the leverage is with the player (as their agent probably knows we’re desperate). Hence you go from letting a Tielemans go for nothing to giving the likes of BDCR and Ayew silly contracts. It has been a recurring theme over a number of years.
-
I’m not sure why he hasn’t tried a 352 yet. Theoretically it would improve where we’re weak - ie central defence and having 2 strikers on the field. Perhaps we’d have to sacrifice wingers, but they’ve been crap recently. Actually, other than Daka do we even have another striker in the squad? 🤣

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We’re clearly beyond the point where any sacking of a manager is Rudkin, Top et al using it subconsciously or consciously to deflect blame from them. -
Players not coming over to the fans
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
And yet we’ve been mismanaged to this point. And we all know why. It’s shocking and yet we are sleep walking… no sprinting toward it getting far worse. Why on earth we changed direction in terms of strategy and decision making about selling to reinvest I will never know. IMO we got too big for our boots and thought or gambled on not needing to sell to reinvest. But then you loose the ability to refresh with those who have something to prove, you become stale, you have a series of duff signings and the few quality players you have realise the shows over, they run down contracts and you’re ****ed. Then that culminates in what happened today - where you have one or two decent players, but mostly plodders who either crap or aren’t here for the right reasons. Such poor squad management over a number of years. We used to hark on about Peter Taylor dismantling a successful team. What’s gone on here in the last 5-6 years at a more structural level is far far worse, and should never be forgiven. -
He was probably the wrong appointment for a relegation scrap at this stage of his career. This is not on him though, but the person who has built such a poor squad of players over years and years.

Everton 4-0 LCFC, post match thread
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hang on I’ve only just realised how bad these goals were having just seen them in a video. I’m not joking when I say these are the worst goals I’ve seen conceded at any level of football, including my own 5-7 a side experiences. Laughably bad. -
Players not coming over to the fans
Wasyls Pec Deck replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
As I was almost pitch level and there weren’t many left, it was one of the highlights of my season so far that all the 5 or 6 who did come over would have personally seen me gob off and make certain gestures. -
He was abysmal today. No effort or application. Literally jogging around having a strop when dispossessed.
