Nerds love JRPG style games. I count myself in that. As a Final Fantasy enjoyer since the early 90s that has really disliked where the series has gone for the last 4-5 entries, this seems like it's a bit of a throwback. Looking forward to it.

Yeah I don't care, Ange would be a fvcking sensational appointment. Some people you know will just "fit" here. I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the Nige comparisons? But yeah - I'd actually believe he could get us out of the division, and I could see Aiyawatt going for it given he seems to appoint people based on their "aura" alone. Highly doubt Ange would drop down a division, but he might see it as a bit of a project and somewhere to rehabilitate his reputation.

Currently sitting as the best user-rated game ever on Metacritic. People are absolutely loving this. Rave reviews from everywhere. Quite an achievement given it was made by a studio of around 30 people. Available on Game Pass too. Gonna jump in once done with Oblivion.

Not me, personally™ But a few months ago a friend was at a national conference for the sector of the media industry he works in. One bloke got his laptop out to give a presentation, and upon opening it he still had the previous night's viewing full-screen and mid-action. Luckily he wasn't plugged in at the time so only a relatively small section of the room saw it, but still... He was the CEO of this particular company, so apparently just laughed it off as "last night's entertainment." Absolute sociopath behavior. Genuinely, there would be no way I'd ever come back from that.

I said this in another thread but I think ex-United player Fabio also achieved 3 consecutive relegations with 'Boro, Cardiff and QPR. Pretty impressive stuff.

I'd absolutely be willing to give them a chance to turn this around, if I had any faith in them making the right decisions - which I do not. It's become abundantly clear from hearing from those connected to the club during this astonishing decline that Aiyawatt is pretty much solely responsible for major decisions. Anyone who excelled in their field is long gone and instead of replacing them, he's surrounded himself with enablers like Rudkin. There won't be wholesale changes at board level. It's likely any investor will just be for financial reasons and won't have any meaningful impact in terms of the direction of the club. This is why the decline doesn't stop here.

"Confidence" is bandied around as an excuse for this lot far too much. They're either dogshit, or they've totally given up. Feels like the three in the "maybe keep" category are the ones that are still showing some semblance of interest in actually playing for the shirt.
