If he stays till end June then we have to pay his wages till end June if we can move him on for free in Jan then someone may take on those wages in lieu of any loan/tramfer fee. all monies are inside the current financial year so makes no difference to us re timings

Well it came from the telegraph so it was hardly going to have been written by a Marxist ………

The January Transfer Window …..Dos the major surgery start?
st albans fox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just don’t see incomings in Jan unless loans. would like to think that we could move a couple on if only to save six months of their wages -
Fwiw, given that he said quite a lot leading up to Jan 6 which was effectively understood as meaning what was spliced together, whilst a court would likely find in his favour, the damages may well be fairly limited on the basis that his reputation hasn't been sullied that much because he had pretty much said what they edited to show he said.

Bomb in Delhi yesterday bomb in Islamabad today

News broadcasts routinely splice together bits of speeches to give a general sense of them They do but this was really poor. Trump absolutely did cause the January 6th riots Well yes and no. He’d not be found guilty in a court of law but he’d be probably be struggling in a civil action to evade responsibility.

Under this govt, the bbc will not disappear. If farage got in then it will survive but not as we know it. my guess on this and previous similar issues is that its down to cost cutting (outside production companies being used) and a related lack of due diligence on the content in these programs.
-
most of those have some nuance and your post reveals more about your politics than the bbc. That’s not an issue (and you’re on the majority view) but it illustrates my point about the bbc pissing everyone off. Is there evidence of this my assumption is that if a North Korean court found against the bbc, then n Korea could ban bbc from n Korea………. similarly, if a Florida court finds against the bbc then it’s a short step to bbc programming being banned in the USA there is a difference between those two outcomes for the bbc
-
I’m not referencing this particular incident i was first on here saying that it was terrible for the bbc. At that point I hadn’t realised it was an independent production company responsible but as with other programs they’ve broadcast without doing enough due diligence, they carry the can. im speaking about how they manage to upset both left, right and centre across many issues. if you’re upsetting everyone then you’re probably putting forward all perspectives.

Said it before if the beeb is upsetting everyone then it’s probably doing its job pretty well

Can’t disagree but if we don’t go down the optimistic route then it’s all over

It means naff all as far as trump and his ilk are concerned but those of us who believe in the rules need to have a part of the msm which is totally reliable or everything becomes labelled as fake news and we’re completely in the gutter, the hope is that the current incumbent of the White House and his politics is temporary.
-
As I said a week ago, the bbc have to stick to the rules. The irony here is that this was made by a non bbc production company. Clearly there are inherent dangers doing this but on cost basis they have no choice. There must be people employed by the bbc who are so clued up on all things news that they would have spotted this if had been effectively ‘proof watched’.

Remember two seasons ago when we gave championship teams easy chances and they consistently issued them. That’s us now -

Pointed out to my boys that the pass through to fats looked simple but he put check on it so it wouldn’t run away. Stuff like that just passes us mere mortals by. -

A six is a cdm/holding midfielder an eight is a box to box midfielder who plays just ahead of the six. You can have eights who are limited to one side of the pitch or more central. a ten is an attacking midfielder who usually plays in the space between the midfield and attack and tends to not be limited to any area of the pitch. under Enzo we player with winks as the six and wilf/kdh as the eights - wilf on the right and kdh on the left. We didnt play with a ten under marti we tend to play with two holding sixes, and either one eight breaking ahead of them or one ten behind the striker. -
Is begovic tied to the goalposts? doesn’t seem to want to leave his box …..

Clearly feels that he’s better than the rest of the team, so no point in passing to them. -
Knowing the size of Nathan Jones’s ego, this makes sense as having its own thread if lcfcoz is Nathan jones……….
